I can't help thinking about the title. Sisyphus's story doesn't have any hounds. But what do dogs do? They guard. Is Guwon the guard of this town of people who aren't quite right? (Jinwoo's flashes of memory give me pause)
Guwon may even represent Sisyphus himself as he continues to do this one mundane task of keeping the town going. Who knows for how long. Jinwoo might be the thing that starts the clock to the end.
