To be fair he really didn’t mean to do it he thought he was dreaming,he clearly regretted it. Doesn’t make it right tho, he better beg on his hands and knees,head all the way down to the ground, crying,and shitting himself, pleading for forgiveness

Technically, I've worked with rape victims and such, and people who slept together and were both under the influence are at fault or are also both victims because they could not give proper consent. So, given that information about Matthew he couldn't consent to proper thoughts. He's still at fault though. So that's why people are arguing that he was under the influence. No, if you were to take this to court, the drugs would only lower Matthew's sentence but he'd still be at fault and serve time.

My point stands. The romanticizing of rap*. One thing does not exclude the other.

They aren't romanticizing it. They are just staying facts here. Also, Jin is now okay with it. The Scene was extremely disturbing, I really hated it. Choking him and abusing him was NOT okay. However, I can understand if Jin decides to say what he said in this latest chapter.
