This is a prime example of a story doesn't need to be complicated for it to be good. It doesn't need many dramas or heavy conflict, it can be just be a simple story without many conflicts like this and it still become people's favorite. A simple story can be wholesome if you're a good writer.

I want to point out how the author really nailed it in making a true nerd character. Bc oftentimes, especially in BL when there's a nerd main character, it always this more "cool" nerd. I mean i get it, this "cool" side of them is for making them looking more attractive. But with Takai here, the way he behave and think is really nerdy and I love that abt him.
P.s Takai's dad might be my other fav character(≧∀≦)
