this manga is kinda like someone read misu misou and thought “hmm this could use a sprinkle of Love Hina” going bacn and forth from highschool romance comedy and brutal torture is so jarring I almost cant take the revenge seriously,,,,, i wish the girls were written better and that there wasnt so much sexual assault

its weird but the idea of patrizia and lucio getting together doesnt bother me as much as tia and ruve and i dont know why,,, the situations are so similar but i think its the way patrizia draws the line and makes her stance clear even though shes wavering or maybe because the real cause for her family’s death in the first timeline was more roseamund than lucio idk something just makes me more okay with this than the other.
in a perfect world though rose would be in jail and they wouldnt fall in love an lucio would go to therapy and they’d just be like,,, friends at most but otome isekais gotta have romance so
Yes! I feel the same. I think it’s because with the abandoned empress the ML was just jealous of FL and his hatred came from something petty. Vs this Emperor who never really hated the empress per say, also this emperor has gone through a really terrible and traumatic childhood which made him choose Rose. Also when the FL dies in the abandoned empress, the ML was pleased. In this one he wasn’t really pleased and soon after he feels guilt and regrets it.
It also very much has to do with the female leads. The empress from this one kinda falls for him in a way that is realistic, and is sympathetic but no push over. Vs the other one who kinda helplessly falls for the ML (of course not without drama but still)
