Man such awesome art, promising story but no to show that the seme is an asshole (which was clear even without that scene), we have to include a freaking r*pe scene. And it’s not even talked about by the band at least a chapter later (more I couldn’t stomach). This sucks

If you read stories and accept stories with rape in it. That’s your business. If you think BL is only yaoi and yaoi is nothing more than gay hentai. Then this factually wrong and personally stupid. But go off.
But to tell me I’m overreacting bc I’m pissed off, rape culture is so ingrained and completely tolerated to the point, ppl can’t even differentiate anymore between making a SA a topic and romanticizing and/downplaying it whilst calling it “dark romance”.
If you read stories with romanticized rape with it, and accept it as that, without even criticizing it, then at least have the spine, to call it what it is.
And since I’m not seeing a tag, the ppl who have read this, are either not seeing this as rape. Or glossing over it. And now that’s a media illiteracy if I’ve seen it. Both showing the problem of rape culture in this case BL. :)
