i hate how so many things in this are ignored with the excuse that he’s a dragon
1. the past life backstory - mc literally raised him and even if he’s a dragon, he was just born and was still a kid, no…? he literally just came into this world, even if he’s a kid, he’s still a kid dragon. even if he took the form of an adult, he’d still be a kid mentally and act like one too (with how clueless he was about the world) so yes he was a kid that mc raised… so it feels weird that it bloomed into romance. it’s not even the typical age difference mc raised ml trope where idk mc was a young teen while ml was a child that mc kind of took care of (for example: unsleep), mc here was definitely a GROWN adult when he met ml in the form of a child, no…? that just rubbed me the wrong way and i was secretly hoping the whole fime that taehyuk in the current life wouldn’t completely recall their past life, at least it gives them a fresh non-uncomfy start in this life, i was deadass praying foolishly the way it’d turn out would be ml realizing mc was his mate -> tells mc -> whatever goes down in the plot and then happily ever after. cuz in this life they met in better circumstances that are not uncomfortable .. it would’ve been a cute do-over… but the mc MERGING memories with his past self made me so ugheheh cuz it’s the past self who remembers raising ml when he was a child…. i do get their past life is important in this trope but also kind of hated how as soon as the past life got introduced, the current-life taehyuk kind of gets forgotten by ml? or at least overshadowed by his longing for first-life taehyuk cuz while it was him in another life, they merged or whatever.. he’s still kind of a different person in this life?? or at least 50-50 but sure his longing for their romance’s origin i guess???

2 the whole consent thing - just because ml is a dragon and “insatiable” in terms of his lust and sex drive or being in rut or whatever does that make it okay to keep pushing mc to have sex with him?? even the first few times they had sex, he was in rut or whatever and out of if and just had his way with mc.. mc kept telling him no or to stop but he kept clinging and trying shit… and even worse, back then he treated it as nothing the day after (tho i get he was depressed or whatever ig…) i don’t like that… it happens even after their relationship is established too… taehyuk tells hyoun to stop many times in the story but he keeps going, and every time they have sex it feels like there’s this imbalance because of that… as much as the smut scenes are rly good lol. like idkk ml is just constantly pushing mc past his limits and while mc was kinda okay w it… at the very least the first few times they had sex is worth flagging out as uncomfortable and honestly non consensual.. even in the past life too tho when mc hadn’t accepted ml’s confession yet. he kept doing whatever he wanted and basically forced mc to have sex w him for the first time??? and after that when mc set some boundaries, he kept tryna push them and even ACKNOWLEDGED that he was doinv so. for example when mc said he’d let him hold his hand. ml agreed only to immediately POUNCE on mc and start trying to make out w him. yes ml is cute but at some points reading the story i got so thrown off by how much he is able to get away with doing stuff like that cuz he cries or he’s cute
also hyun definitely deserves a better ending. he did ml so much wrong in the past life, yes, but in this new life he didn’t even try anything and even kept his distance. and he even VOICED out!! his every regret for the way he had acted back then and his honest feelings to mc.. just for mc to just cut him off immediately just because of something that happened in a past life 300 years ago (that he himself did not recall until like weeks ago too) and become strangers is just too cruel?? hyun could’ve turned out like the eunuch or something but he did taehyuk 0 wrong in this new life!!! they are literally different beings than they were centuries ago so why does it.. matter….
don’t get me wrong this was still a nice read these were just some things that kept bothering me and unfortunately prevented me from having as good of an experience reading this as i hoped. they’re still really cute!!

thank you!! i’m getting thumbs downed for this opinion but i did enjoy the manhwa i really did, these thoughts and opinions are just a few factors that stopped me from enjoying it as much as i wanted to and i still enjoyed it thoroughly it’s just that if these were addressed better i swear it’d be an easy 10/10..!! Good! Finally, someone’s talking about this Honestly, some parts do feel kinda forced. The ML is adorable, but he can be pretty pushy sometimes, and ngl, it makes me uncomfortable at times. The story is good but I think the author should make the characters can control their desire... Idk something like that. After all this is smut, why who am I to be judging?
when i said that the whole mc raising the seme thing is weird so many ppl down voted me and a lot even refuse to acknowledge it is in fact WEIRD, this whole thing honestly turned me off from reading the story and I dropped it which sucks bc I liked it bc I love crybaby semes + smut is so good

jaemin actually stupid as fuck cuz wdym u didnt know u liked him??? and also im shocked he told gureum the WHOLE story damn but that aside gureum is such a good friend?? and he's really smart and on point with his advice too, he's also giving jaemin a little nudge in the right direction so he can turn over a new leaf because ultimately taeyoon does like jaemin and it could make his friend really happy in the long run but he DOES point out that jaemin is honestly trash and taeyoon doesn't owe him anything even if he tries which is so true, it's all up to jaemin's effort and whether taeyoon wants to forgive!
