This could have been added to a character profile. We did not need full power and weapon breakdowns for characters that we already knew.
This story makes me uncomfortable. I’m trying to ignore the kid chapters but they keep bringing it back up.
I never understood empress sympathizers. Comments are always like, “yeah she murdered a ton of innocent women and their unborn children, tortured a living child and left him to starve and die, and maybe she did destroy family dynasties while stealing their land and money, BUT SHE’S SMART. The kid she raised that was meant to be king was dumb as hell, but she clearly had the brains to be successful.”
I’m going to be so annoyed if the next arc is everyone trying to save iruma. He’s spent too much time and effort on becoming stronger to ever be considered a damsel in distress.

On ch 137 and I can tell that this story is about to shift into a direction that I don’t care for. I just don’t think every story requires a deeper meaning. I enjoyed reading this when it was just an arrogant kid mad that someone beat him in his favorite video game. I’m annoyed that there is some dev playing god, that suddenly the npcs have a conscience, and that our arrogant protagonist is suddenly looking around and considering others before acting. Maybe if it was other gamers I would be less annoyed, but npcs?? And yes he regressed, but no one actually died initially. This should not have turned into a real life or death situation.
A dragon that can’t fly long distances just doesn’t sound right. I want to say it’s because she’s still young, but they said it like it’s was a species attribute.
This could have been a really interesting story, but the author chose to introduce too many characters that weren’t currently important to the narrative and the story is too male centered (for me). I don’t care about the daddy, play boy, prince, knight, assassin, etc. Show me the mother, daughter, and step sister THAT’S IT!
I don’t know why readers like to throw out accusations when they don’t agree with something. No it’s not abuse, coercion, or assault. They are two consenting adults playing dumb games. Was it rough? Yes. Could it have been better? Yes. Do I wish that it was better? Absolutely.
That was cool. I’m confused and lost and I’m pretty sure Rudo is traumatized, but it was cool nonetheless.
All my recent fav stories have had horrible side stories. I’m glad byul at least got to make the final decision in the end. Everyone kept pushing their own point of view on him and I hated that. He does not need to build a relationship with the mother who abandoned him. That lady had no problem moving on so why can’t he?
