Personally I just keep up with this cuz I genuinely want to see the ending for the MC.
This is saddening bc it's a form of torture and the MC giving in to make it stop is just one step to fully dominating and breaking his will to run away. Once they become dependant on the depravity you put them through, the hopelessness that not a single person can or will help them, the failure of his running away, and the natural cowardice not being able to commit su1cid3.
If he learns the fate of his family and the people he was previously treating and if his daughter is dead.Yeah, he's trapped 100%, from the moment he stepped foot in that castle.
Personally, I believe we're seeing the slow boil of Dan reaching his breaking point with Jaekyung.
Yeah, he's been meek and a pushover and has always been a softie, but that acknowledgement of "hey, that memory of having been tired and unwell and Jaekyung didn't give af and still used me.....yeah, since when has he shown me any consideration, its not like him."
So Jaekyung's attitude is probably gonna piss him off cuz he hasn't changed but because of their time apart he has come to, not worry per say, but be nosy ab Dan cuz he actually left him.
Not the other way around.
Like rn, Jaekyung is pushing and pushing and still not respecting Dan's boundaries. Dan is ofc ignoring him outside of mandatory sessions and that's a start, but I do believe he's going to boil over. Everyone has a breaking point, and Dan may be well ab to reach his.
So I never was able to see the intense hatred and frustration on Bellerir until right this chapter.
On another note, what did Enkidu do?? I always knew he had done or said something we hadn't seen yet but now it's my main focus, what did he do?
Traumerei and Gustang v Urek? I feel we may not get that but with the way SIU has been stepping on the gas and not letting go, I may be surprised yet again.
