Honestly I thought Kaoru was gonna give in to Rin and i was lowkey hoping for Yuka and Taiga together but maaaan it was such a rollercoaster. I'm happy that they all ended up with a proper closure. Am I the only one who thinks the past is being unnecessarily brought up too much? The present haesoo knows that his relationship with jowoon ia too complicated. He's selfless and doesn't want to complicate it more. Can he just please have happy moments with taku.
No I’m pretty sure you think it’s unnecessarily bc the past stories consist of jowoon. Since you don’t like him. The past stories are the only stories that keep this manhwa even a little bit interesting right now, we are able to see why and how jowoon and haesoo’s relationship got so complicated rn and how it changed them. Why do u think Haesoo Is not in a relationship with taku, he can’t suddenly fall in love with him either since his past plays a big major factor in it

The reason why I’m saying that is because imo there’s no progress in this whole story, there’s little to no character development. The only development is their past, because as I explained, it shows why at least jowoon and haesoo behave right now. And I assumed, bc their past did not include taku, you found it unnecessary to talk so much about their past. Since you’re not rooting for jowoon. I’m talking about all the characters not only taku. I don’t care about who you like or who you ship who with. It’s not about who you root for, if you somehow interpret my words into a taku vs jowoon thing or you actually think i invalidated your feelings just bc you like taku = congrats, you missed my point.

Yes, the past was part of the present Jowoon and Haesoo. All I'm saying is, why brought up the past now? Will it even affect the current situation of the story the fact that Haesoo decides to let go of Jowoon? And that the story should just progress with the present issues like how Jowoon would survive, Haesoo's happiness, and Taku's involvement?

And my first reply was just a disagreement bc I think their past is kinda important and the only “interesting” thing going on right now. Showing someone’s past isn’t necessary if nothing major happened in it, we all wanna know why haesoo acts like this right? That’s probably why their past is brought up in season 2 instead of the beginning
You judge me by the fact that you always imply that I don't like the past because I don't root for Jowoon/don't like Jowoon which is very wrong. I do root for taku but that doesn't mean I'm not acknowledging Jowoon.
I'm only saying that there's too many 'extra scenes' in the flashbacks which I find unnecessary because for me the whole point of the flashback only revolves in Haesoo's mother, who's against their relationship, affected the whole family.
I even find it unnecessary where taku was shown in the past of Haesoo and Jiwoon.
