That's because Grayson doesn't fall in love immediately. Grayson was busy sleeping with the firefighter women while looking for the "butterfly" mark, before realising it was Dane who saved him. He fell in love AFTER knowing Dane was his saviour during the pheromone party.

But that aside, other than them involved in KML, I just remembered in DMIYC novel spoiler: Josh said Dane and Grayson came to Josh's and Chase's wedding one time, but Dane was kissing with Chase's secretary. I don't remember what Grayson did then though lol.
