Aside from that, what they are talking is about Male Lead in matter of 'Love interest' "Smartest friend". The problem is People still don't know if he is the male lead that has love interest with the female lead or NOT. What does it have to do with claude, in that context we already know claude is the Father figure "Smartest friend". Since, the story focuses on their love story because they're the main couple and also the main characters. This is not a shounen where the main character could possibly end up with just anyone.
