Given
Sooo as vanilla as given may be, I still respect it as a person who struggled with depression and anxiety. I can feel some realism and the idea of coping through trauma is beautiful, that’s not to say that it is painfully slow with the author as said. But its way more of a better representation of queer storied then say Junjou Romantica and Super Lovers.
So, the author was going for more then BL. This was done through a music focus but its not working for the stories favor with how boring it is already. Ultimately, if you are craving desperate slice of life realism, and the boredom that comes with it. Then this is for you. This ultimately is too long and poorly written, do yourself a favor and just watch the anime and be done with. The story is in rambles. Literal. Rambles.
As quoted “ I’m going to keep reading it but this manga left me feeling so heart broken for Ue and Haruki. So far it’s not clear to me that their partners have real feelings of love for them but more like using them as a crutch for their lost loves. It made me super sad. Everyone me has baggage but it’s clear that they’re not ready for a relationship and the confessions so far just felt shallow. Heck, their relationships feel shallow. I felt empty after finishing the available chapters. Is it just me?”
