I’m so confused, Doha’s memories are from when he accidentally saved a new tape as a npc, right? So why didn’t they looked for his old tape as it’ll give them more information about the game instead of playing seongchan’s? Also when seongchan was playing the game with bada and Yongtaek, doha was still pretending to be a npc, right?
1. I hope once Bada gets his tape back and recovers his memories, he would realise that he should find Doha’s old tape to find out more about the game and hopefully Doha wouldn’t withhold any information to keep playing the game with Bada hahaha
2. Remembered when they accidentally put youngtaek’s tape in and got his memories the first time? He was trying to convince Bada that they were teammates together with seongchan back then and to stay away from Doha - can’t remember if they didn’t team up with Doha because he was npc back then or because he and seongchan split up
Waiting for someone to reread this and generously summarise S1 and S2 because I can not remember what is happening and who is who at this point, i beg of someone please ╥﹏╥
Heavy on this!!!
Okay ill try to shorten me explanation of the story as much as possible.
So basically Seth (the MC) is the god of sand and wars and is ruling Egypt as its king.
However he is a cruel king, not only is he letting the Caravan (bad guys that are trafficking and killing humans, mostly women) roam free, but also by imprisoning his wife Nepthys (who is also his sister) and abusing their son Anubis.
One day he is challenged to a duel by a guy with falcon head (That is Horus our ML). At the same moment his other sister Isis ambushes him and says that Horus is her son. They are then backed up by some other gods and take Seth to the divine court (its like a court for gods, but all the judges are just other gods).
There they decide that Horus and Seth will have a three stage competition. If Seth wins hes recognized as the legitimate king by all the other gods (He killed his older brother, Osiris, who was the previous king and took the throne by force). If Horus wins, he becomes the king.
The first competition is won by Seth, the second by Horus. I should by now mention that Horus is MADLY in love with Seth, you cant really see it the first few chapters but after a while? That MANS YEARNING. And you'll also find out why latter.
Time skip to past> In between the trials, we found out, that in the past, Seth had no ambition to become a king, but Osiris told him that: he was in love with Seth for a looong time, that Anubis isnt Seths son and that he plans to take Anubis's life to create their (Osiriss and Seth's) child. Seth who (even tho he abused him later) loves his son offers himself to Osiris so that he spares Anubis's life. Isis sees only them doing the deed, and thinks that Seth seduced Osiris and blames him (even tho Seth is the literally the victim). After this, Seth then kills Osiris and becomes the king. They then fight with Isis, she runs away, resurrects Osiris for a while and has Horus with him.
Time skip to present> The last trial, is a hunt, but Seths weapon is destroyed. His son (Anubis) is supposed to give him a new one, but because he is trying to free himself from Seth, gives him a cursed bracelet. Once put on, it knocks Seth down, making him loose the last competition, therefore Horus is the winner.
Again, at the court, the other gods want to bannish Seth to Sun Gods boat (wnich is practically endless torture), but Horus, to save Seth from this kind of fate, proposes a different idea. He says to let Seth help all the souls that have been harmed because of his cruelty. Not only the ones killed by Seth, but also those who has fallen to the caravan etc.. Nepthys (who we found out wasnt actually locked up, she decided to stay in the prison because she cheated on Seth with Osiris, their brother, and had Anubjs, meaning he isnt Seths son.) is also siding with Horus and they manage to stand their side.
In the end, Seth has ro witness the pain all the souls suffered, and only THEN he will be banished to the sun boat. He then is stripped from his powers and has to leave, into the mortal world, being just an demi god. That is S1 (reaally short explanation) and its only 75 chapters.
Wait for S2 its long af
I have a question: why did Osiris have a child with Nepthys? It seems like loves Seth so I’m confused on why she decided to have a child with someone that wasn’t him.
Anyway, Thank u sm for summary of S1 you are a life saver! if you have time to summarize S2 drop it here so I get a notification pls <3.
Omg thank youu!! I love you sm and may both sides of your pillow are cold, your coffee is the perfect temperature and you find extra cash in your pocket!!! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Spoiler alert!!! If u haven’t finished season 2 please don’t read
I think in S2 and at the ending , we find out that she was basically brainwashed/under a spell because the part of her that loves Seth was trapped in a mirror (i may not be understanding it properly but that’s what i understood!)
Well you've got it practically right. She looked into the two way mirror. The mirror works like this: if both mirrors are clean and someone looks into one of them, their face becomes "imprinted"
In the mirror. Now if someone else looks into this imprinted mirror, they will see the face of the person who looked in it first. Osiris tried to make Seth love him, by looking to the mirror and then giving it to Seth as a war gift. But Nepthys looked in it sooner, so she fell in love with Osiris. She then wanted to have a child with him, and Osiris agreed under one condition. That she gives him her powers to create life (have kids) so that he could some time later attempt to make a kid of himself and Seth.
Sorry for the cut message I accidentally sent it
