I was similar to Woowon, I always relied on myself and found it difficult to rely on others as I found it shameful and I was also insecure. So if my partner did it without my acknowledgment, and got MAD at me for being upset, I’m done.
I do hope Woo relies on his partner more though AFTER THEY DISCUSS and not just SeoAn doing it without his consent.
As much as I agree, being an enabler is just as annoying. Woowon has been enabling his father. He is trying not to but kept relapsing. It's a horrible feeling to keep doing things you know is bad for you or hurts you. If someone yanks you out of it, I think anyone in their right mind would find themselves thankful for it, even if it the realization is quite late.

The only consent Seoan should've gotten was the migration thing. The father situation was something Woowon would not have agreed on if Seoan asked. It was radical but necessary. I get Seoan's perspective. He was not belittling the money issue but rather Woowon not being able to completely cut off his father.
Maybe but it still needs to be discussed, you’re a partner for a reason, you discuss things before deciding for yourself, and reassure them and then persuade them to stand up to the enemy somehow.
Even if it’s likely that woo might disagree, there’s something called reassuring your partner and making them feel safe and secure, words to encourage them.
Let’s not forget that Seo is also quite selfish and also told him how HE DECIDES. It’s a red flag.
Personally I’d have lost some trust if my partner didn’t say anything and did that without my acknowledgement. This isn’t the first time Seo has forced stuff and deciding for himself.
