From what I have seen (little spoilers here and there), we will soon learn a bit more about ML. I’m excited to know more as he really is a background character rn.
In the upcoming chapters, we meet his older brothers who blame ML for their father's death. Emperor was made heir because of his abilities. His brother's are dukes on the borders that betrayed Chariot in FL's past life. In this life, they stress out the ML so FL burns them to a crisp
