Idk but I really don’t understand why the ML is evil yet I mean yeah he killed his dad but it’s like maybe I’m an evil bitch, but they kill people because they’re an apocalypse and they have Limited resources. I don’t think that’s revealing his true colors. That’s literally what the beginning started out as The teacher himself was literally about to die because of those exact rules had he not been a teacher so I don’t know. I’m genuinely not sure how he’s evil. Also him running the town and having one of everything again is limited resources. They had this like weird ass apocalypse thing going on so that makes sense realistically speaking that makes sense. I think. To be honest, I think I need an explanation as to why he’s evil because I don’t see it.
to me, he's more of a necessary evil who doesn't understand what being evil entails. like you said, he's the leader of a town whose role is to protect it, even if it means sacrificing one to save ten. i feel like it's just been so long since season one that people are forgetting that guwon has very little knowledge of the world outside of stillwater town lol so i don't think he's "revealing his true colors" either! jinwoo was able to change guwon's mind about giving medicine to one of the children and it honestly seemed to me that guwon didn't even know he was "wrong" in that situation until jinwoo told him he was.

Guys am I slow, I’m still not seeing how guwon is evil and this plan seems dumb like how are they gonna be sustainable without leadership, is he lowkey kinda crazy, yes but at he same time there’s a zombie apocalypse and resources are limited, so like desperate times call for desperate measures and such. Also I think a big part of him acting the way he does is cause he’s lowkey (highkey) slow and only sees things on two extremes. He’s showcased serval times his lack of in depth thought to WHY something may be “logically’ or the “easiest” solution may not be the most moral or empathetic solution and how therefore it’s not 100% right. Which again crazy but not necessarily evil. At least not intentionally and I think intent is most important in the conversation of evil. He’s dumb and does things a normal person would consider morally wrong, however to him it’s the most logical solution based on their situation. For instance killing anyone who’s not ADDING anything to the society he’s built because with limited resources it can’t be wasted on people who add nothing. Is that mean and a little crazy yes, but its not inherently evil. The logic checks out, it’s just morally based of societal standards it’s wrong. But it’s an apocalypse so like it’s hard to apply normal day to day logic because survival is overall the goal. But idk maybe I’m an enabler ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
omg I thought I was crazy for thinking guwon isn’t evil
