That part where Sasha said that she has the comfortable, luxurious life, but she’s still in pain? Completely okay. I think we all have this thing where we think, oh, I have a roof over my head and food on the table so I should be grateful. There shouldn’t be anything wrong or hard about my life. Others have it worse. But, please, please, please, know that that doesn’t mean your pain is invalid. It’s real, it’s there, that suffering. Please know it’s okay to find it hard despite living well. Your emotions are real and they matter too. Don’t compare your pain to others.
Thank you... really... when im feeling down my parents whould say i have "everything" so i should be happy. Ive been thought that way since i was a child..
They whould say someone is suffering more than me after that i kept saying "me being in pain is invalid"...since i was in kindergarten my parents whould compare me to others they'll even compare me to my siblings to the point that i start hating them, it makes me sick... literally thats all i hear when im with them, and they will call me ugly my mom even called me a slut because i wore shorts, yet she complain why i dont have confidence, since i was 9 at night (at night i whould "release" the pain i whould cry) and started kutting my self with my nails first i felt like it was not enough so started kutting with blade, it became one of my hobby since then (im 2 months clean rn) and my parents whould be confused why im feeling down when its them who made me like this.. your comment really helped me... im sorry needed to rant...
