ML is allowed to say no and walk away, same way if roles were reversed. They ain't gotta explain themselves.
Mangaka must've been forced by the editor to create a random conflict for this, cause ain't no way they chose that by choice.

Albeit they were short, the sides were nice. I want to see more stories where the uke who's been traumatised by the uke still facing the repercussions (as messed up as that sounds) since the stuff they are forced to endure is not something that can easily be brushed off. The same way I wanna see seme entrenched in regret at the fact they pushed the uke to face something like that even though they finally beat the big bad, meaning that alls well does not end well. I finished chapter 23 and one question keeps plauging my mind: why does the gov want to kill Kile? No matter how you wanna spin it, he's a victim. It seems a bu ch of people realised he's the twin brother and has recently unlocked his powers, so the government's reasoning to issue a 'shoot-to-kill' order makes no sense. If he had outright refused to register, then maybe that could be an reason but he hasn't. The gov just seem so sloppy I can't even take them serious or acknowledge them as a threat against the leads, regardless of how even Asher is responding.
I don't get Lou's behaviour towards Kile when you factor in his memories of Ray. I say this because if Ray were alive, wouldn't that piss him off for what Lou is doing to Kile? I read some spoilers, and it seems that Ray and Lou had a familial bond, yet when he meets Kile, he treats him like shit. Even Lou's dumbass comment on how the two look alike was so stupid... does he not understand what an identical twin is or was he born empty up there?

A lot of my comments are from the perspective of an older sibling, so I understand Ray's decision to jump after his brother bring involved, and I also understand his reluctance for his brother to learn about anything he's going through, but more than anything, I know he wouldn't be pleased by Lou's treatment towards his brother after how he should've been aware of how Ray viewed Kile from how often he spoke of him (including his reason to change his name). I feel like anyone with a sibling they adore, or even a cousin or a friend they dote on like a sibling would be thrown of if they were in that situation.
No matter how you wanna spin it, Lute is a victim. He forcefully taken by the 'miserly knight' (or whatever they call him) and is forced to be intimate, even the first prince tries to force himself on Lute w/plans to kill him, and then he's kidnapped by a foreign prince and repeatedly raped. Even his crush not only talks down on him but drugs him for the prince because of how insecure and materialistic she is.
But what do we get from the author? Oh, no guys don't look at ML, look at the other guy he's much worse.

Idk why I'm so worked up on fiction but there's no tag that shows 'rape' otherwise I would've avoided since I can't stop reading halfway, and instead will skip. And why is there never someone around them who agrees how problematic the ml's behaviour is?
Is there a story where the mc does not end up with a delusional ml like in this story? Cause now I'm curious. We often see a character who's forced to bottom and expected to look past the trauma of how their relationship began and how no one deserves that.
