I think the author of this manga did an exceptional job at portraying a very realistic picture of how relationships work in real life(gay or not), especially with the first short story. The drama is subtle and low-key(no rape scene, which is a breath of fresh air for me at this point) compared to the other stories in the anthology but the plot delves into relationship problems that persists in everyday society. I notice that in a romantic relationship, there is bound to be that one person who is more rational-minded and reserved than the other and this is perfectly reflected in YUTAKA's and RYU's relationship. For instance in chapter 2 where it as discovered that YUTAKA did not make it into the university of his choice in Osaka and was subsequently faced with the possibility a long-distance relationship, he responded by suggesting a break-up. Frankly, I believe his reaction was justified and I can see where he is coming from. He was exposed to his elder brother's volatile & crumbling relationship and witnessed first-hand the aftermath which was a failed relationship. This will undoubtedly take a toll on him with regards to how he views long-distance relationships, all i can say is I cant blame him if he projects that view to his own relationship w/ RYU. All of Yutaka's decisions(like how he also intercepted ryu's love confession with apprehensiveness) in this manga has thus far tells me he is a naturally logical person and the manga has been very consistent in depicting him so,kudos to the writer for that!
Ryu, on the other hand, wears his heart on his sleeve and is the more romantic soul out of the two. He's very considerate of Yutaka's feelings and though he harbours love for yutaka, doesnt go out of his way to force yutaka into doing something he doensn't want to. Only when there was a hint of reciprocation did he make an advance. I really adore him for it,such a sweet guy. But just as he was firm with his feelings for yutaka, he was also sensible enough to put on hold and pause to reconsider when he found out that yutaka still had one foot out the door, so to speak. I guess that's because he is sensible enough to know that it takes two people to make a relationship work. But I'm glad both of them got to work things out in the end.

This piece makes me want to give a million free hugs to a million different strangers.oh the feels.. :'D with every page turned ,I literally couldnt stop grinning from ear to ear. I really like how Daiki and Shouta's character matured into a more serious(for Daiki) and gentle(Shouta's case) demeanour and how the flashbacks in the interactions of their younger selves fully lends a whole nostalgic twist in the whole "i've secretly been harboring feelings for you" setting. And a jealous Daiki is a sexayyy Daiki rawrrrrr. I'm really looking forward to see the direction in which the author will take the story. so far, the best shounen-ai piece i have ever read!
