Now I get it. Jae-eon did not fall for Jin-ah, he was trying to mend things to Sera. He thought he can maybe restart anew with Sera after she got amnesia. And all those looks he gave Jin-ah its not him looking at her with admiration and love but analyzing her behavior that differs from the Sera he knows.

I love how despite Jae-eon is shown not to care for Sera, he still notices every small detail about her. He's really not good at showing and expressing emotions let alone navigating his own feelings.
