I support Haesoo and Joowon, because I do believe that real love is when you can love someone with flaws and still stay with them. They’ve been through so much so it’s hard to release feelings that’ve been kept in by force for so long. The presence has a toxic atmosphere just because they made decisions that left a big impact in the past. They were kids, and even now, I do think that they didn’t have much of a choice given that they’re still struggling with the same problems (only that now, there’s more to come because of Woojon being famous and Haesoo wanting for his mother to be happy). And they are still working on this, because Haesoo really loves his mom and would rather sacrifice his own happiness for that sake. But that’s also an excuse for him to not confess to Joowon, because he fears for a rejection. Joowon on the other side is more willing to burst out everything he’s kept to himself, but has a hard time with it because Haesoo seems to be with another guy. I hope they’ll overcome the mountain together and one day just stay happy and watch the beautiful view of life that they deserve. But if not, then I’ll still wish them happiness and the power to grow the feeling of love again for someone new, because even though something hurtful left a scar, the marks on your body still won’t resemble you as a person. If their relationship won’t last, then at least I’ll pray for them to meet someone who’ll make them look at themselve without focusing on their own scars. By this, I mean that I hope for them to find someone that will wash away their pain from the past. Team Joowon!
To me personally, they could never move on with their lives if they continue to have that reserved mentality. Not lying but also not telling the whole truth that they're forced to make a compromise that is toxic to each other. I personally prefer them ending up together because they really love each other, just that their biggest fault is never clearing out the misunderstanding and actually sitting down to talk about feelings they've always been afraid to speak aloud. I really feel for what you wrote, love is not flawless. It's a collection of hardships that actually puts you in a perspective where you realized you'd really want to go through these challenges with that one person.
Yeah I totally agree. But I think they’ve been going on with these toxic habits because they were too afraid for the outcome. And the fact that they always came back together no matter what, had an bad impact, thinking of how they never brought up the issue and left it undiscussed, making everything worse by time. The problems and the negative feelings kept summing up and they are now left with so many hurtful topics that won’t be easy to overcome. It’s not per defintion that they have to make a move and get rid of those problems to call their feelings real love, as I phrased it earlier, because they do not lack of the love, but are rather drowning in fear for the future if they are leaving the same track they’ve been walking through for years. Their actions have them both chained to positions, which they have been keeping for too long. Haesoo can’t admit his feelings because of his mother, and because he’s afraid for Joowon to hurt him (Teenager Joowon told Haesoo not to fall in love with him). Joowon on the other side, knows that even though Haesoo always comes back to him, he’s still sleeping around, making Joowon to be one of Haesoos many sex buddies. Joowon only wants for Haesoo to said the three words of affection that he’s waited so long for, but because of what Joowon said in the past, Haesoo has shut his feelings down. But I hope they’ll overcome this mess of hell that they’ve avoided for so long. If they both truly love each other (they clearly do), they’ll hopefully fight for one another to stay, and maybe they’ll manage to pull up with everything.
