Also, as the other commenter said, it hasn't been a year in this universe yet. It makes no sense but we suspend put disbelief. When I say it doesn't make sense, I mean there have definitely been over 365 cases spanning over 1125 chapters and Conan didn't have a case daily since he sometimes refers to the last case as something that happened last week or two weeks ago. So, it doesn't make sense that it hasn't been a full year but oh well
