I just saw the raws for this and bro they legit took out a huge chunk from the novel. Basically summarized all the high tension and emotional moments with a blanket….
The whole scene where you see Edith defeated and given up on her life is just gone with Reese(i genuinely don’t remember her name) panicking and begging Edith to beg for the life as the third exception/rule was about to be accomplished. T^T.

Why did they not add how badly she was beat up? I was preparing myself for the angst that’s was to come and now they took it away. I can’t even tell how the next chapters will be like. Was looking forward to seeing killians reacting to Edith being badly bruised and heartbroken

It's nearly over, there's a big fight after ML loses his mind and takes over the country basically after what the queen did... He almost wiped out the royal family before going to rescue FL with the Dragon&Co/his retainers/fellow knights. Ruby spent some time in the holy city under Brother's thumb and unhappy until ML comes and she takes off running away to find him.
Then it goes into the afterstories, but she lost her protection and can't handle divine power so before that they basically separated her/ML for a while until a way was found to avoid her taking more damage from it. He gave her that dragon part heirloom and it was destroyed, so the protection was lost by time of final battle in royal city. They are dragging it out tho, because all of this stuff takes place in like 5-10 chapters near end of novel and sometimes was just mentioned as what happened tho not in detail.
