After these vignettes of Jaeyi's past, the most likely outcome is him being avoidant. But the most immediate reaction is angry (Jaeyi's side) sex. I'm crossing my fingers that won't happen because Ideum is precious and I'll be sad if Jaeyi of all people hurts him for something Jaeyi is personally dealing with. I hope Jaeyi used that time, he was waiting for Ideum, for some good rational thinking. He seems like a smart guy (books and streets). Hopefully, the angst and all it encompasses will be handled carefully without ruining Jaeyi's honor and humanity or setting Ideum's progress back to zero.
The brother needs to not exist in their proximity please
I'm hoping that the author will not walk the path of Yaio clichés. I'm looking forward to how she'll tackle their (Ideum and Jaeyi) relationship.
I want to see Jaeyi heal from his childhood of neglect. I want to see Ideum live his life and stop blaming himself from his parent's relationship failure.
I want both of them to experience the love they were deprived of growing up. Two lonely boys creating the life they always wanted and deserved.
