This is so timely, with the war ongoing in some countries. I'm sobbing at how this become reality. Many people are dying, children being orphaned because some old men are bored.

So beautiful and so short but that makes it even more beautiful. Been reading this very slowly (read it for days lol) so I can fully digest and look at every detail. One line was so powerful I couldn't stop sweating from my eyes "I'm sure mothers come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and circumstances."
It hit me so hard so heres a little story.
Well my mom is never the usual mom maybe because she's a single mother but never actually the usual single mom. She was well sheltered when she was young but during her teen everythings suddenly poof! gone. Her dad died, wealth vanish, she rebeled and did/use/consume illegal things. Things went really hard and chaotic. Many years later the illegal things did its awful magic and viola she was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety. She's stable now (we fought it hard :>). Anyways as I was saying she's never the usual mother. She's more like a teenager. My mom is very hardworking but does not like cleaning the house, doing the laundry or cooking. She never thought me what to do when I got my first period or anything that a mother should teach her daughter really maybe that's why we have this love/hate relationship. I hate her cause she never acted like a mother and how she shows and told me she love my lil brother more but I love her so much because I saw and know how hardworking she is. Its like I understand her but never really (that's why I studied psychology and I graduated last year btw ｡◕‿◕｡) ). And lately I've been starting on hating her again cause she seems more stubborn now with the smoking and drinking again. Then I read this and thought about my mom. Moms really come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and circumstances. My mom got a lil wabisabi but that makes her pefect acutally and I love her.
