did you read this at all?? Skylar had a crush on chan-li to the point he was stalking him and shit. He never clarified he got over his crush on chan-li PLUS he reminds him of minwoo who had a lot of emotional damage to him and he still is deeply in love with as stated. He doesn’t ‘need a slap’ for being scared of attachment after the trauma he experienced in his last school - the fear of people finding out, cirrus telling people/making it obvious, etc. He is also confirmed to have anger issues as stated by cirrus himself. When he gets angry he doesn’t THINK of what he’s saying to someone, he just says whatever he knows will get the worst reaction as he is mad. This is seen by the stuff he says to his mom about his dad leaving her and how he would treat chan-li at the start of their friendship when he said he hated him. Plus Cirrus is NOT innocent at all in this situation as he has abandonment issues and is being obsessive with skylar and he invaded his privacy through his phone to cut off connections with someone skylar was close with because of his own issues. They’re both just as traumatised and broken and skylar should not be blamed whatsoever. Plus this is paralleling the chapter where cirrus tells skylar he hates him and him being around his friends & how he disgusts him causing skylar to cry.

This is not me having a go at you or anything I am just clearing stuff up about making skylar the bad guy in this chapter. OFC IM NOT JUSTIFYING HIS ACTIONS AS HE HIT CIRRUS AND MADE HIM CRY

There's no shounen ai of this specific caliber that I've ever come across. The complex dynamic between Cirrus and Skylar is something very new. Cirrus chases Skylar and doesn't know how to act but then instead of being oblivious about it like characters in other BL stories, Skylar KNOWS exactly what's going on and perhaps even enjoys it. Plus, even though Cirrus looks like the dominant one, both he and Skylar can be seen as both submissive and dominant at the same time.

Maybe Semantic Error? Only because the main characters in that manhwa have intelligent conversations and an interesting relationship, especially if you want to read something different and fresh, something that tries to break the BL stereotype. Doesn't have as much angst but the characters are very well written.

Suree. But again, it has a lot of trigger warnings so really, be careful when you read. Personally, tho, it’s really good. one of the best out there, plot-wise.
