dont be such a boring party crasher. the ship is sailing even if it starts wit fighting. the most romantic stories are these who start with enemies.

well, i have some enemies or heroes/villains or rivals or violent couples as my otps but never the abusive one. if disliking abuse in relationships makes me a boring party crasher then i want to be the most boring party crasher ever.

I think it was meant to be comedic (even tho I didnt find it funny). I've figured out why it bothers me more when He Tian does it (aside from my Xi bias). Xi is tsundere. Like Chitoge, Taiga, Eri, etc. He does it when he is embarrassed and trying to get Yi off of him. He usually shows a sweet dere side later though. For example he would not let Yi get rained on. He has shown sides of giving in to him before (taking care of him, carrying him, etc). He Tian is very much not tsundere. He hurt Red with intent to weaken him so he can drag him off somewhere. I'm not necessarily saying its more okay for Xi but it bothers me less.

It's a shame so much people do it...

Also rape, extreme jealousy or possessiveness, violent sex, manipulating your partner too much... usually those are unhealthy relationships and it's not cute nor sexy at all, it's sad and pitiful. :'(
But I do think it depends on the case, like it's natural for people to feel jealous if they are in love, so if in the manga the characters don't hurt his lover out of injustified jealousy nor forbide him to have friends... it's not wrong. It can be cute, even, if it shows the feelings development.

In this case, He Tian is being an asshole with the readhead, but they don't even like each other yet, they dislike each other. He Tian seems to be feeling super fustrated and lonely and venting his sadness and anger in Red, and the other dude is super defensive and agressive with everybody... Plus, the redhead did hurt He Tian friends, so... it makes sense He Tian is being a jerk. It's not romantic but it's not terrible either. Plus, I think violence here is shown to make comedy, so we shouldn't take it too seriously. :)

yes i know. my previous comment before this i said that im looking forward for their relationship development, if hetian can finally show he cares and red hair can finally stand up for himself then it will be nice, especially if they can snark, fight etc with each other, but for now i cant ship them anymore.
what baffled me that some other comments that said they are ok with hetian and red hair current dynamics, they even encouraged it. thats why i cant help but post another comment.

redhair need some icking bc he hurt xixi XD its still in normal fighting limits. look at shounen manga , like one piece or even dragon ball, the fight till blood fly around but u r still ok if the end up friends later.they r guys , adn ok mby alil violent but tian didnt leave any marks on redhair .

btw about the rain on poor red hair i was kinda pissed too , but u know when he kneed him he did hold him so he wont fall. well i find something nice even in something evil XD. and he was holding him the whole time so he wont escape or fall .

ah but thats what i mean about the differences between violent and abuse. example in one piece, sanji and zoro cant stand each other and if they fight it is for real and like you said bloody, but they are kind of equal. you dont see they having fun beating weaker people, thats nasty villain or just a plain bully. and yeah they have enemies and rivals who end up as their friends, but not after some bonding experiences or the enemies pay/regret their mistakes in some ways. im looking forward for these to happen in hetian and redhair relationship, what i dont agree from the start of this thread is if they get into romantic relationship and their dynamics are still like this. just big no.

and u know i think redhair isnt as weak as he seems, tian is just too well trained.

Are you talking about He Tian and the redhead? Don't worry, they're not in a relationship - yet. Although I do think that if they do end up in a relationship, and I'm really hoping they do, then He Tian wouldn't be abusive whatsoever; he doesn't seem like that kind of person. Plus, since he's taking redhead to his apartment or whatever, he'll probably take care of him after, y'know, he kneed redhead's stomach and whatnot.
Also, I think He Tian might still be angry at redhead for what he did, since this is happening while the blonde dude (forgot his name) is probably still over at Xi's apartment.

I personally like their story because of the whole hate-to-love relationship, and because I don't think He Tian is actually a jerk by probably just a lonely cupcake or something.

did u just call tian a cupcake? hahahaah , dont let tian hear it or u r dead. nah rly i think he is just lonley and didnt learn how to express his feelings .i was already hoping for a friend for tian since the beginning , i mean he has friends he plays basketball with but i mean some1 who actually know his life circumstances. and i guess u wont just take some random guy home.(thats my fangirl heart thinking u know ^.^)

it will be the last time i said this, at first i didnt say that he is abusive, an asshole? yes, abusive? maybe not. what made me left the abusive comments was bc some comments that encouraged this kind of behaviour and still see it in romantic relationship way. i really hope if they do get into relationship it will be nothing like this and i know hetian capable of caring bc his attitude towards yi is kinda sweet. but you cant deny that what he did to redhair is not nice.

Okay, I'm sorry about that. Yeah, if that kinda behavior goes into their (hopefully gonna happen) relationship then I'd rather they not be in a relationship at all :/ but like I said before, I don't think it's him, I think he's just lonely, and like you said, he's very sweet to Yi.

the deal is he tian and redhead are not even in a relatinship.
