If you love content warnings on every other chapter, a violent obsessive top who has major issues mixed with amnesia, and a bottom willing to do anything for him while presuming they can make it work?
HAHAHA- don't go in here. Don't enter. Do not attempt to pass go and collect 200. I read through the whole thing because I didn't want to drop it midway, presuming it was that bad. IT'S THAT BAD. The arts meh, the story is actually diabolical in terms of predictability, character awareness, and plot. The relationships are non-existent or heavily toxic, and this is not something that really gets fixed at the mid point- it goes until about 3/4's of the series, if not longer. Sure he gets less aggressive and horrible human waste but it's not made better by any means.
There are a horrible count of non-con/rape chapters in this series; not moments, CHAPTERS. You feel bad for the bottom, realize he has free will, and then it's just a toxic relationship they're both gluing themselves into. There is no real payoff either. It just leads to a "I understand you now and we'll forgive each other over time" happy ending!! I absolutely cannot say enough that you need to avoid this with a torch and pitch fork at the ready! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
While this is not the hot garbage everyone is making it out to be in the comments, it's not good for a myriad of readers.
--- HEAVY non-con/rape actions from pretty much the get go; like chapter 2. It occurs in multiple instances, and they try to play off the tops actions with traumatic childhood backstory that is hinted at but explained far too late. It's not even insanely traumatic, falls kind of flat honestly. And lets be real- the top gives the bottom a drink and after drinking that SINGULAR drink he is so drunk he falls UNCONCIOUS. SPIKED DRINK INTO NON-CON?! ON THE FIRST INTERACTION?!? You will lose a good chunk of audience off that alone.
---- The bottom keeps coming back to top. Because he's pretty. Despite the bad interaction they left off as kids, and the NON CON DRUGGING that essentially happened on the last interaction? He still goes out of his way to find him again. *Only for it to just happen AGAIN but this time the top non cons the bottom AT THE TOPS WORKPLACE.*
AND THEY STILL GET TOGETHER AFTER THIS!!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
---- The bottom, seeking finally after I believe the third shitty interaction, tries to date. It fails but he finds a side-piece who accidentally takes him to the tops work and bad mouths the top. Bottom then gets assaulted by the side piece.
If you somehow make it through that complete shit-show? It's fine- it's whatever. Obsessive top is obsessive, bottom just smacking the back of his head like he's re-training a child. It's not good by any standards but it's not utter trash, has a few funny moments and the arts not bad. But genuinely if you don't like non-con/rape relationships? This one is rough and REALLY not justified with the heel turn behavior; do not enter this place. ( ̄へ ̄)
It's not really good but i don't get how it's so especially hated when most bl nowadays are like this. I'm not saying that we should just tolerate works with no consent/rape just because it's what most bl authors feed us today.
I just find it weird that they hate this one in particular (so hated to the point most I see in the topics right now are negative) when this at least had the top who tried to improve in the latter part, while there are top-rated rape bl manhwas with ratings reaching 9+ where you don't see a change at all to the lead's behavior.
Tho I admit, I'm kinda biased here too since I like the pretty seme x delinquent-looking uke dynamic.
But set that bias of mine aside, what sets this work apart from other rapey bls that makes it so hateful (aside from the ugly drawing of dicks)? Coz honestly for me, it's really that average. Not to be hated that much, yet not to be a fave either.
Female lead is annoying and runs the "I'll fix it but accidentally make it worse" trope, male lead is just the perfect combo of "I'm hot for the viewers sake and offer relatively NOTHING else" along with "Man child given power and money" I've seen in a HOT minute.
Leads friend is fine but she doesn't offer much except being perfect and enchanting in everyones eyes. Literally the only character I can stomach is the side male lead. He's flirty yet fun, he is a possessive but it's not put in a cage tier. Also HE CAN INTERACT LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING. How this series has as much love as it does is baffling because it's bland, overdone, and a slog.
I'm dropping this and do not intend to return. To each their own. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I probably could have dropped this at chapter 30-40. 2/3 of the male leads on your cover page are her literal brothers and you get to the main male lead only at that 30ish chapter mark. I'm not upset with the character and world building but *man I was holding out for a hero to arrive and he finally did and I was disappointed.*
Spoilers Below
------------------------------------------------
It's a slog to read- nothing of major interest occurs and honestly once the main male lead (you'll know him when you see him) arrives a lot of side characters get SHAFTED. The brothers show up less, the whole prince of the kingdom who was kind of a red herring at the beginning literally ceases to exist half way through. The aide that felt like a plausible villain? Yeah he has one kind of build-up scene at the 70 chapter area and WE NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN. The story's bland, they are quick to use and throw out characters, the love arc is cute but overused and not anything to write home about. The main character suffers no high stakes either- there are instances where she collapses, choking up blood. People are frantic and trying to save her....only she wakes up fine and dandy, everyone dotes on her for all of 5 minutes, AND THEN SHE CONVINCES THEM TO GET RIGHT BACK OUT THERE AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!! THERE IS NO WEIGHT TO THE ACTIONS TO RECIPROCATE THAT ITS A MOMENT WE SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT WHEN SHE JUST KEEPS GOING AND IS COMPLETELY UTTERLY FINE!!!
Honestly the best part is the array of comedic moments there are with the designs, panels, and setup...but it's not tagged a comedy so WE ARE DROPPING THE BALL ON THAT TOO I GUESS! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ Overall, you can skip this one. If you're out to be a completionist go for it but I earnestly can tell you? I've been there. I finished it. I hit the end, I gave it 2 stars, and my final thoughts weren't "how riveting" or "I should tell-" or even "I'll add that to my-"
No. My final thought was "Glad it's over." with a complete deadpanned stare. And that's a blatant sign that something was failed to be conveyed in a rightful manner.
That ending was VERY rushed? They did this great job of building up characers and then BAM! Your sister reincarnated, remembered everything and just leaps in to save the day after existing for like 1 chapter prior? Then you talk with your brother who kisses you, you spend maybe 8 panels thinking about it, and despite not having ANY prior romantic feelings YOU ARE DOWN WITH IT???? AND THEN IT ENDS!!! Didn't even give a romance arc!! I think they just slapped it all into that last chapter. Like you can tell the brother has feelings for her, but she didn't!!!! SO WHAT THE HECK ALL A SUDDEN WITH YOUR MAKE-OUT SESH ROMANCE?? Heck off with yourself. You were doing so well and then ya just ruined yourselves.

Just got caught up after suffering from a concussion the last few months and I picked this back up, got through the whole Tower fight at the end of season 2? I hit chapter 80 and clicked next to NOTHING- "Come back when it gets updated" essentially.
When I tell you I could bash my head into a wall with the frustration of being denied the completion principal of her finally telling Cedin the truth?
PAIN. I AM IN SHEER ACTUAL PAIN. (/TДT)/
