the first chapter of bnha ends with deku (OFA) saying "this is the story of how i became the greatest hero". and now, chapter 297 ends with AFO saying "this is the story of how i will become the greatest demon lord". so will something new happen? a new era maybe?? the rumors on bnha getting a timeskip is everywhere rn and i guess it makes sense since horikoshi said the manga is ending. i think he will confirm more deaths after the timeskip. we still don't know what happened to tamaki, fatgum and all those injured heroes like bakugou and endeavor.
the heroes letting toga escape is actually one of the worst possible mistakes. she could literally be ANYONE around them. she can freaking pull a camie and take blood from any 1A students. not to mention, her quirk had already gone through an "awakening" that allows her to use the quirks of the people she's transforming into. it will be almost impossible to find her.
i have a theory that this will lead to the reveal of the UA traitor (i doubt that man horikoshi forgot about them). like what if toga disguises herself into any UA students/staff to make contact with them. then, toga and the traitor will team up to destroy UA and the hero society from the inside. like just think about it, that would be so cool.
yea i'm just gonna accept the possibility that this is a story about rape lol. i had high hopes for this manhwa. the art style is so freaking pretty and i LOVE historical drama genres. but the way the plot is back to point zero just puts me off. like the plot is not even that good. killing stalking is about murder, mental instabilities and a whole lot of messed up shit, but it is incredibly well written and the ending made me cry despite all the things sangwoo and yoonbum did. i'm sorry but the way POTN portrays the rape scenes feels like it's romanticising rape. like it's meant to be hot or something, but honestly i just feel sad and angry. i fast forward the rape scenes to read the actual plot just to find there's none lol. the chapters are way too short. i don't want to accuse the author of lazy writing but that's exactly how i feel.
i still had a teeny bit hope to see some kind of plot progression. so yea this is my complains and honest opinions about POTN because i can't keep lying to myself no more.
Bruh, I'm on the edge of my seat with excitement for this story and I enjoy every gut wrenching & hot sexual scene and scenes to come. Up and downs - all. So, that's means ...? This story is written for readers like me and many more and clearly not you. Simple math, read something else. SH was murdering and being a sexual deviant in ch 1 for fuck sake. There was your clue to skidaddle.
woah easy your horses there lol potn is made for people to read and because of that there will be different opinions. sure SH is clearly a psycho but a story can be about rape and abuse with actual interesting plot. but potn has very trash plot. all the build up from the end of season 1 about the planning of NK's murder all leads up to NOTHING. it's disappointing. no significant dialogue, no nothing. just rape, some miscommunication and more rape, rape and rape. in my eyes, you're just a fujoshi who's too messed up in the head to actually find a rape scene hot. and i've seen your replies under actual discussions for the story telling them to stop reading the story. you can't even handle an opinion. what a fucking baby. "the story is written for people like me" people who get off from rape scenes? disgusting. i bet you're just here for some fucking, rape or not. but whatever right? different people, different opinions right? i can't change your mind for shit, just like how you can't change mine. cry about it.
damn LMAO you really can’t accept an opinion huh? this is a discussion post for a reason. disagree with me. fine, then let’s DISCUSS it. telling people to go away and read another story, spewing shit like “simple maths, take the clue and leave blah blah blah” doesn’t make you edgy or cool. using your logic, my discussion is clearly not for you so take the clue and leave. “skidaddle” out of here lmao. also, how am i a transphobe? idk shit about you. i misgendered you and i apologize for that, truly. it was an honest mistake. but to label me that.. WOW who’s the SJW now? and yeah you’re right. i’m going to read this until it’s complete to see how the story progress. i don’t hate the story, if that’s what you’re assuming. i never said that. all i said was an opinion about the story but here you are getting all butthurt over it. and you know what? i WILL write another discussion in the future. what you gonna do? harass me? lol. i don’t want to waste more of my time over someone who can’t handle opinions. have a good day, hope to never talk to you again xx
ngl tho, i miss seeing the lighthearted moments in this series. thinking how big of a mess the aftermath is, will things be the same anymore?
there is high chance there will be no more sports festival. no more school festuval. no more seeing the students safe and happy in class. no more fun training arcs. even if they happen, it won't feel the same anymore. i miss those moments lol :'))
(i made another discussion about some pretty deep things happening in the show as well as the aftermath of the war. i still love the show as it is, but the pain is REAL)
the villains did win the war in the end. the effect they put on the hero society is just too big. will people still believe in heroes after this? even after endeavor, the "new symbol of peace" is revealed to be a bad person in the past? what will happen to UA? will it be closed? and what will happen to the students?? i'm pretty sure deku can't use his arms anymore and shoto has his trauma doubled from his little "family reunion". bakugou, in my opinion, has a very slim chance of survival considering the damage he took. not to mention deku unlocking quirks every five seconds. there's just no way they can keep OFA a secret anymore.
my hero academia is no longer a lighthearted and simple show. it's gotten to the point where i question deeper things in the series, about whether the quirk society itself is actually safe and fair (which is not). thinking back, overhaul's ideology can be considered here. quirks are diseases. and according to the singularity theory, as generations pass, quirks can be too powerful for the human body (this is clearly shown with dabi burning himself with his quirk). therefore, will humanity perish if they normalise the superpower society? so how will my hero academia end? will everyone become quirkless using some sort of "cure" like the ones overhaul planned to make?
there's just so much to think about. i love this series even more with how deep it became. but ngl, i miss seeing them having fun :((
It's clearly obvious that hawks and dabi knew each other at one point in their lives. Since hawks is trained under the the hero public safety commission when he was a child, i think it's safe to say that dabi was sent there too around the same time. Remember when endeavor said that touya had a fire quirk more powerful than his, but had rei's weak body? I assume that's the reason endeavor deemed touya a failure and pushed him away. However, to not waste the potential of the powerful quirk he possess, endeavor sent him to the hero commission and that's where touya met keigo. If that's not the case then how did dabi know hawks' real name? All of the trainees under the hero commission had to abandon their real name in order to become a hero. It's part of the rules to train under them.
Imagine how hawks feel about this. He found out his childhood friend (?) became a villain, and later he will find out the reason he turned out how he did is because endeavor, his idol, was a child abuser. and considering hawks also came from a broken household.. that's a lot to take in.
before i start, take a deep breath. relax. wipe your tears if you cried (me too). beware this is pretty long.
i’m gonna predict what happens to bakugou after ch 285. yes in that chapter he got impaled by the tendrils and he’s not looking good. but don’t forget that the tendrils are part of AFO’s quirk called Forced Quirk Activation. basically they activate someone’s quirk by stabbing the person’s body. AFO used this before on kurogiri and magne during the fight at kamino and their bodies seemed to have minimal injuries. so yes, the tendrils are not that harmful and bakugou has a chance at living.
however, bakugou was freaking IMPALED. idk if that will make a difference. but if he does survive, things are still not looking good. now that the tendrils got a hold on him, AFO can take control of bakugou’s quirk and use it at his own will. damn, i even think AFO can steal his quirk for good. so i think the story continues with either:
1. AFO steals his quirk. (bakugou will end up quirkless)
2. AFO takes control of his quirk. (meaning deku will have to fight bakugou)
3. bakugou suffers critical injuries (assuming injuries by getting impaled is different than getting stabbed) and falls to the ground. todoroki will catch him (from what i remember todoroki is just below him)
4. and the worst possible outcome, he dies. (this is unlikely but please NO)
Literally came back to put your a similar theory XD I was just on insta bnha285 tag and I found out about the forced quirk activation thing and honestly I was so happy. For like a second, then I realized. . . Shiga can now use bakus quirk as he wants. Either steal or just toy with him. I believe he might want to toy with him more than steal it. Shiga knows, thanks to when he captured BAKU and he got rescued by his friends, that deku cares greatly for BAKU. So it's better for him to toy with BAKU and use him against deku. On the other hand shiga ain't 100%in control rn so it would be AFO's decision. My other reasoning is that if shiga is in control again he would throw BAKU to the side, the moment shiga said "you are not in my radar anymore", or something like that, to baku earlier in the fight. So out of stubbornness he might not use baku.
This isn't anything new to your theories I'm just kinda giving support to em.

I hope MAPPA animate the vomit scene as good as they can. Anime-onlys need to go through that experience too.
