I understand why people say Jiwon needs to lose once in a while, but honestly, I don’t agree. His opponents aren’t just trying to win—they’re trying to kill him, as if that’s the only outcome that matters. Jiwon, on the other hand, doesn’t fight to kill unless it is deemed necessary - he fights to win and to grow stronger, not to take lives.
And it’s not like other slop whre mc just overpowers the enemy. Our mc is outsmarting or finding a weakness in fights he loses in, he doesn’t win bc he’s just super strong he’s winning bc he applies what he learns from his teachers into battles. In this case he figured out taking out his shadows also weakens him so now it’s a matter of who runs out of power first
I would even go as far as to say i want to see him win overwhelmingly for once. He keeps getting thrown around and roughed up cause all his opponents are levels above him
