The mirror was a gift from Ra to hathor and there are 2 of them. One for hathor n one for sekhmet. The mirror activates when one of the two icons etched on it opens its eyes. If hathors icon opens the eye then mirror will make u fall in love with the person whos reflection u see in it and if sekhmets's drawing eye opens then the mirror befuddles your mind and amplifies your most desired wish and makes u act on it destructively. The catch is . If theres someone u alrdy love and if that person is not same as the one reflected in mirror then mirror will rip your soul n the part in love will be trapped in eternal void while outside u will be a brainwashed version on factory reset bewitched to love the person u saw. Hathor wanted to make horus fall for her so she gave him the mirror n was planning to gaze into it so that her reflection will be seen by horus but remember? Seth tousled n was teasing her so his face coincidentally reflected in horus mirror n horus saw him. But since horus alrdy loved seth he wasnt trapped by mirror n he could freely come n go unlike nephyths. But his deepest desire was heightened n mind befuddled and that made him rape seth even tho he didn't want to and was against it.

Osiris stole hathors mirror n snuck it in seths war spoils n had similar intentions but nephyths accidentally was the one who gazed into it. The part that loved seth got locked inside while outside her was forced to think that she likes osiris. Also her deepest desire was to give seth a child n bound hjm to her and that desire was heightened crazily cuz sekhmets icon eye also opened so she went to osiris n begged hjm to give her a child. Altho things went against osiris plans he still made the most advantage of the situation by deciding to use anubis as a body vessel to bring the child to lifr which he wanted to make with seth forcefully n was experimenting towards that.

I have only read a few but my faves are: CODENAME ANASTASIA, Pearl Boy (in a sense), Royal Servant, Smyrna and Capri, Touch Up, If you Hate Me So, Low Tide in Twilight (aka waterside night), Lost in the clouds, ROSES AND CHAMPAGNE, Dreadful Night, PASSION. The ones in CAPS are peak while the others have mild versions of tension but awesome storylines. (This is only imo, sorry if they end up not being to your tastes!) (●'◡'●)ﾉ
