the premise of the story is good!! this is the first time i’ve read smth like this (in bl genre) so it really got me hooked! tho i’m not really a fan of the artwork,, there’s little to no emotions shown in the characters’ face i really can’t see the difference when they’re happy sad etc cus it looks the same. Honestly debating whether to rate this a 2 or 3 it wasn’t that bad but it wasn’t that good either. Haebom and Taesung were so cute tbh but then there wasn’t much to their personalities? Like the story has so many chapters but no actual depth…+ Dowan arc was so unnecessary and I hate it when Taesung doesn’t get Haebom’s consent before doing it (rarely happens n he apologizes for it but still). As a queer… this was honestly so triggering. So much homophobic comments and stuff. I know that was intentional but it was really hard to read it. MC changed for the better tho. Overall, this manhwa is all about a homophobe accepting the LGBTQIA+ community. While I enjoyed reading this, there were a lot of things that I do not agree with. And honestly, it was hard for me to try to understand homophobes (MC). I couldn’t just sympathize with his feelings.

First to mid part of the story, I was planning on rating this a 4 or 5 out of 5 but came the ending…. It really threw me off lol I’m so dissatisfied with the ending. I felt like it ruined a supposedly good manga
I have so many thoughts about this.
It started off as good— the fight scenes, dialogues, and we can really see the uniqueness of each character. I was really hooked at first. But came the last few 10 chapters, it somehow downgraded? I feel like it was a bit rushed.
First of all, as much as I love noiman/nuemann, I hate the reason why he was put into jail I was expecting that he was put in a reformatory because he killed his mother due to her physical abuse BUT NO he killed someone who was trying to protect him He’s twisted fr but I don’t hate him at all… Was just disappointed with the reason as to why he was locked up.
Second, the cults. Letting Daisy live was such a bad move She was a badass from the start and making her child-like at the end…. Should’ve killed her instead to keep her personality lol AND the reformatory boss liking her…. brah WHY THE HECK that’s unnecessary romance right there
Lastly, they skipped a lot of parts towards the ending? Like how did Iwakura lived when his spinal was broken and a concrete fell on him? How did the monsters originate? And stuff like that ++ Why the heck did Yoshiura leave T T
Overall, this was honestly a good read but disappointing at the end. if this becomes an anime, I hope they fix the ending part lol

I love this so much… I rarely cry when reading but GODDAMN this manga got me sobbing. It’s so fucking beautiful and tragic; it’s so well-written. I was really urged to save manga panels (which I rarely do too) because of how beautiful it is

I cannot express how this story is so beautifully (and tragically) written… I legit cried when reading this because it’s so fucking sad Both Alan and Hayden were victims of this fucked up society and it’s sadder to think that it also happens in real life.
I relate with Alan the most. This religious guilt is eating me up. Growing up in a devout family and being gay… I feel that my life itself is a sin and everything bad that has happened to me is my punishment. It feels more freeing to live outside than at home where your existence is cursed. I’m just glad that Alan was able to live freely with Hayden Honestly, K would consider this a ‘happy’ ending coz they found peace and home in each other. They were together at their last moments and were finally free from the society that holds them back
