I’m pretty sure Yellow Dragon was waiting for Dojin’s life back home to be peaceful and settled. So that adjoin would be comfortable leaving it behind. At that point he went back in time from that moment and took Dojin to Yooguk with him. But completely. He won’t get to go back home and that’s why Yellow Dragin waited, do that Dojin didn’t need to go back. So that things were okay to leave behind. Because of this his body in the old world died. He finally went to Yooguk to stay.
