I would not call it a queenbait tbh Yeah they do not end up together but you can easily interpret their relationship as romantic or heading to be romantic (as it was intended imo) It's just this is not a love story- love was never main or even mayor theme of this manga Also it really nicely explores themes of relationships, dependence, trust and even trauma
