people who are still frustrated by shima's indecisiveness and inability to identify his own feelings miss the entire point of this arc. I know we all want to see them as a couple again, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this arc and shima's character development. our boy is gradually learning more about his emotions and feelings in general. he's beginning to break free from the notions he was raised with. keep in mind that this manga is also a slice of life; it isn't just about the people falling in love. It's also about how they grow as humans, both in love and in general!

i'm in love with veil and the way it portrays such subtle and tender moments between the characters. the domesticity they naturally fall into, the monologues every couple pages, emma's inquisitive attitude, aleksander's thoughtfulness, the art style... simply beautiful.
