i remember reading this a few years back and dropping it before i even reached the halfway point. the characters were so painfully human that i couldn't stomach it. as someone who values reason over feelings, seeing people give up every last shred of their dignity in the name of love was unbearable. til this day, i can still remember how i loathe this manhwa lol dramatic, maybe, but i have zero patience for that kind of self inflicted misery.
every chapter had me thinking, "there's no way they're actually doing this," and then they'd somehow make an even worse decision. maybe that's why it's memorable to me after all these years, not because i loved it, but because it annoyed me that much.
so like...
everyone died?? because???? what exactly did garhan do? did he really kill them to make him stronger so when han bin killed him, his points are higher than before he killed those people?
there was that, to increase his level. but there was also the artificial heart garhan had which belongs to omphalos (omphalps was going to use to gain the experience from all the otherworlders using the suicide function) garham killed the otherworlders to fully power up the heart, gave it to han bin who killed him. so han bin ended up with both power ups

poor jaheon ☹☹
