    Even though he died, Misha continues to have a connection with him. He took on his patronymic name and surname, is his heir, inherited his house and the reason why he is a perfumer was down to Ilya. We see Misha using Ilya's teapot and cups for example too. You just have to view Ilya and Mikhail's story as bittersweet, and appreciate that after Ilya's death Misha finds his purpose and also embarks on a new relationship with the Dr.

    OMG!! I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!! I LOVE ILYA, AND I MISS HIS AND MISHA'S STORY. <33 Their story was so deep and meaningful!! I felt so sorry for Misha when Ilya passed away, and our poor boy wondered, "What was the expression on your face?" :(( It makes me sad that Ilya lived through sadness and none of his relatives came to visit him, not even once, after Misha started living with him!!

    Therapist was the first story I read in the series and I liked it! However, after seeing Ilya and Misha, Banker became my favourite in the series. I want Misha to be happy of course, and he should definitely be with Gian since that's what his heart desires (Misha has been alone/lonely for years too...), but Ilya... ;_____; OMG, Ilya just left this irreplaceable place in my heart. <33

    I know Misha gained independence and opened his perfume store after Ilya died, but still... I cannot let go of Ilya, who I see as Misha's guardian angel. x))

    Thanks for creating this thread!! It felt nice to let out some feels and know I wasn't alone ;____;

    AGREE!! Ilya was SO beautiful! <33 Ilya could have continued to live his life alone... Ilya warned Misha about falling in love, so Ilya was distrustful to a certain extent. Yet, he still chose to welcome Misha into his life and Misha was reborn as a new person through their union.... ;_______;

    I just LOVE that Ilya was patient and caring without being forceful!! There was that time when Ilya stood in front of Misha's aunt and her boyfriend's house in the cold after Misha walked in, just to wait for Misha and what if something had happened to Misha, right? That other time when Ilya offered Misha to attend perfume classes, instead of pressuring him like stating he has potential, etc.... Whenever Ilya offered Misha money, Misha had the choice of refusing. Misha could have left Ilya's home too. Ilya even went through the process of legally adopting Misha, so Misha would have a home and money to continue living. ;_____; I think Ilya giving Misha all his money and belongings was his way of protecting Misha after his death. </3

    I know some readers may feel conflicted about the BDSM scenes, but I don't mind because they were consensual! Ilya was even hesitant to engage in them too... Just omg, why didn't Ilya's relatives know how to cherish this precious man? ;_____; I don't care that Roman is older (looks older anyway) than Misha! Misha and Ilya probably have a 25+-year age gap and that doesn't matter... I think there was love between them. There was appreciation and acceptance. If Ilya wasn't already sick, who knows? Misha and Ilya could have traveled to places. (Okay, I just went through some parts in chapters 43-45, which brought back some feels ;____;)

    I FELT EMPTY WHEN ILYA DIED TOO!! OMG! I know this is fiction and Ilya's death made sense since we didn't see our gorgeous banker when Misha was older... But IT WAS AS IF TIME STOPPED! :(( Nothing could replace Ilya... It hurts me to imagine how lonely Misha must have been to continue living in Ilya's home, being surrounded by our deceased's belongings and memories of moments only between them!! >< Even years later, Roman was still trying to get back the house!! ;____; (ROMAN, GTFO! I SWEAR, YOU HAVE YOUR OWN HOUSE AND COULD LIVE WITHOUT ILYA'S!!)

    But damn...even the way Ilya touched Misha, like patting the latter's head or holding him... They were tender. <33 Misha was so used to being invalidated by his aunt’s boyfriend and his boss, so Ilya gave Misha the love our younger boy was not used to :’( Heck, both Ilya and Misha made each other's lives brighter.

    I just can't help feeling that.... Yes, Misha and Gian developed feelings, but Misha could never forget the way Ilya treated him. I don't know how else to say this, but the way Ilya loved Misha was just...magical

    Oh my god... I thought I had gotten over Ilya already!!! And then I had to see this thread and my longing come back to hit me full on like a truck!!! I so miss Ilya too. I even save Roman's picture( that cocky asshole, he never visited his father, knowing he was dying !!!) just to fuel my imagination for a younger Ilya.
    I agree with you that yes, Misha and Gian are what we need to heal our soul, but Misha and Ilya are just irreplaceable. What's more, since the beginning, the tone in banker's story alreadywhy made me feel uneasy, like there is always death hover in the background and I know this is already going to burst my tear sack, but it still managed to caught me off guard when Ilya die. Like danm, of all the stories, banker is my most cherish tale cause it depict not just the most beautiful growth of love, but also of Misha's growth, of how strong he is to live, learn and love and not let fear and sorrow hold him back, despite knowing his time of happiness was borrowed.
    Ilya was not just Misha's lover, he is also his mentor, protector, supporter, and ( in a way) father, and he love Misha as lover, disciple, and ( I believe, somewhat) son. So his love for Misha is both romantic and platonic, and that's why his love is overwhelming but not restricting, subtle but powerful. And I believe Misha's also love him back that way.
    And of all the stories I've read so far, none had managed to depict such unique way of love. And that's why Ilya's story is my very own favorite in this series.

    We all miss Ilya ;_____; I'm curious about how Ilya and Roman's interactions were like... If Roman spoke to Ilya the way he spoke to Misha, I would understand Ilya's sadness even more... >< I'm curious about Ilya's relationship with Roman's mother (did he find companionship and a genuine lover before meeting Misha?), or if he had other children. It would be sad if Ilya had more children who are like Roman. :/

    OMG...younger Ilya... ;____; I'm curious about what this precious man looked like too, and how he was like .... I like that Misha and Ilya did not pry, which I found was respectful (people will choose to open themselves if/when they want to). After Ilya and Misha came home from Misha's old workplace, Ilya asked Misha if our young boy could love him and his life... Misha could only shed tears, hearing what Ilya experienced, and said, "At least let me know about your pain." TO THINK ILYA LIVED ALONE IN THAT HOUSE, WITHOUT A COMPANION and that LONELINESS before Misha entered his life.... ;_____; Damn, now I wish Ilya had so much more happiness! We saw that Ilya and Misha were content before Ilya died, but I wish those moments lasted longer...? I wanted to see Ilya's response when he would come home to see Misha's flowers bloom and for our younger boy to tell him about them! (I can't get over that moment when Ilya told Misha the latter had dirt on his chin and then used his handkerchief to wipe it <-- Another tender moment ;____;)

    Your statement, "I agree with you that yes, Misha and Gian are what we need to heal our soul" captured me. Gian being with Misha was a healing process for him to move on from the relationship he had with his ex-wife; he was hurt about having a relationship (not necessarily being with his ex-wife herself) that was once so significant and then to have that disappear... Gian wasn't ready to fall in love again. Misha, on the other hand... I think Misha could relate with Gian. Even though Ilya passed away, Misha has never forgotten him or left him behind (Misha did request Ilya to leave those scars, so our precious man is always with our perfumer...); because Ilya died, that significantly had that feeling of loss to their relationship too. So, both Gian and Misha were attached to their own past relationships without those partners present. While Gian talked about it with Misha, I have a feeling Misha hasn't talked with anyone about Ilya... I think Misha was moving forward through Gian’s healing process, so he was ready to fall in love, but he was hurt again when Gian chose to end the relationship and that made me sad :(

    I'm not sure if I have a clear grasp of Gian's personality to say whether Gian and Misha would be the best partners for each other, but since they’re choosing to be together, I hope that they could have a future together. Not a relationship where both parties are lingering or holding onto the past so much, or at least not as much as they did when we last saw them. (Although, I personally think Misha won't ever really move on from Ilya because of how significant the latter was to him.... ><) … I don’t know how I feel about Misha x Gian now that we’re talking about them xDD

    "What's more, since the beginning, the tone in banker's story already why made me feel uneasy, like there is always death hover in the background and I know this is already going to burst my tear sack, but it still managed to caught me off guard when Ilya die." < -- I skimmed through some raw chapters and I was still sad when Ilya passed away, lol!! I think that was the unspoken future we and the characters just didn't want to see.... We knew Ilya was sick and Ilya talked about dying, yet...it was such a peaceful day when Ilya left the house (AND HE HAD THE VASE IN HIS CAR! </3), so Misha didn't see Ilya's death coming. ;____; I was just...frozen. I felt so empty, tears couldn't even come out of my eyes. Like it was unreal. But that funeral made it too real... And I was even more hurt to hear that EVEN AT HIS FUNERAL, Ilya's relatives could only talk about money and that Ilya had a mysterious heir! T>T No one seemed sad that Ilya passed away, no one cried... They all just came for the sake of appearances!! And I won’t be surprised if some came to witness Ilya’s heir… -_______-

    It's interesting that you use the word, "borrowed" to describe Misha's happiness after he lived with Ilya. Why did you use this word? :)) I truly think that Misha was reborn as a strong person. With everything Ilya gave Misha, Misha became this confident individual who was ready to withstand anything in his path! <3 It scares me to think that if not for Ilya, Misha would have continued to be that 'small' person who was getting mistreated by his boss and receiving those absurd accusations from his aunt's boyfriend, without any protection (although, at least Misha's aunt did try against her boyfriend...)

    I think Ilya became very content when he was with Misha too. :) It hurts me to know that if not for Misha, Ilya would have continued living alone and then would have died alone, without anyone to have any genuine love for him... In chapter 50, Misha reflected, "You gave me the keys to all the rooms in this house, but you never open yourself to me." We see that Ilya began to open himself to Misha when he allowed Misha to feel his pain (not only sharing his past, but also through BDSM). Ilya even revealed how happy he was to come home and see Misha! So, unlike the man who was uneager to live, Ilya became the person who had something to look forward to in life. ;____; I hope that Ilya regained his faith in love through Misha... Do you think he did?

    "Ilya was not just Misha's lover, he is also his mentor, protector, supporter, and ( in a way) father, and he love Misha as lover, disciple, and ( I believe, somewhat) son. So his love for Misha is both romantic and platonic, and that's why his love is overwhelming but not restricting, subtle but powerful. And I believe Misha's also love him back that way. " <-- Oh, the FEELS are still alive <33 When you mentioned there was both platonic and romantic love between Ilya and Misha, I found that so very true and precious. <33 Misha and Ilya loved each other as individuals and for the significant roles they played in each other's lives. They cared for each other's well-being, they embraced each other without negative judgement... Damn, Ilya and Misha are the definition of for better or worse <33

    I agree, I also haven't read any other story that portrayed love as deeply unique as Misha and Ilya's. <33 Within those six months Misha and Ilya lived together, they became each other's family. ;___;

    ^ My response became lengthy, huh? LOL, feels overload... xDD Let's be friends, if you don't mind! :))

    What a thoughtful contribution, it would be interesting to see how Misha views/handles his relationship with Ilya's son/Ilya's ex-wife and what level of awareness they all had for each other whilst Ilya was still alive. Obviously the ex and son felt "cheated" financially, and in some countries it is not legal for a child to be completely disinherited like Roman was. Ilya's ex wife obviously wouldn't have any obligation to care for an ill or lonely Ilya, but you would have expected his son to have some sort of contact or compassion. Maybe the son severed his ties with his father completely after he knew about Misha, regardless of gender, both he and his mum view Misha (wrongly) as being this young gold digger.
    Regardless of this speculation, how their story was presented seemed sufficient and realistic, I would imagine all of those characters would have had little physical interaction with each other and their was a great deal of amniosity on the part of Ilya's ex wife and son, and regarding Misha well he remains passive and polite as would expected in his relationship towards his partners's ex and son .

    Oh wow, when I write this comment I did not expect to have such lengthy and insightful reply for this one, and I love you so much for considering all my thought and opinion and provide back such beautiful reply to me. I feel so blessed to such meaningful conversation with someone whose though so align with me.
    I always thought that Ilya might have an arranged marriage with Roman's mother, or else that Roman's mother might have been a gold digger, because Ilya once said that when he wakes up from the operation table, there were only looks of disappointment on his relative's faces, cuz they expect to get his money. I feels that if there were genuine love in his previous marriage, his ex wife would have at least called or come to visit him once in a while too, knowing about his condition( I don't believe she doesn't know, this is a rather big news) and no matter how bad their relationship were in the past, you can't really ignore the man you once love and have a child together when he's literally threading on death door, even if you already move on. And one more thing, Ilya once said that Misha always turn the cup handle towards him, and that's a kindness that no one ever showed him. At that part I got to wonder, how bad were life threating him that he found such a small gesture to have such grand effect on him? How dark were your life that such small light seems blinding to you? So, yeah, I think there's really no love lost between Ilya and his ex wife, and that's just... really sad. As for Roman, well, I had my theory that maybe his parents divorced when he was really young, and therefore he was closer to his mother and considering how busy Ilya seems to be( he's president of the bank) he gets to see his father less, and probably only see him as " that man whom I see twice a year and I get his money when he die" . I think that's why he's seems so distance from his father. And dear god, please, don't let Ilya has more children like Roman, I don't think I can handle knowing Ilya's heart has been broken more than once, it would break me.
    And about younger Ilya, I think the downside of this author's art is that every character is drawn so beautifully that I can't hate anyone in this story, even asshole like Roman. The thought that he could be the younger version of Ilya makes me rethink about slapping the shit Out of his ingrate ass for insulting Ilya and Misha's love. I'm sure You could understand my sentiment.
    oh my god, Ilya, why did you wait so long to reach out to our boy? You two could have this happiness for little longer. Six month is wayyyyyyyyy too short for anyone to truly appreciate you( Misha is the exception cuz he's that ball of miracle sunshine and devoted love that's too good for this world).
    Regarding Misha and Gian, I am happy with them and I think they will be the medicine for each other soul and maybe they will have a mutual understanding and healing relationship cuz they went through similar thing, but I don't think they will forget their past love. You move on from love, but you don't forget it, especially one so deep it affect your life years later. And yes I agree with you that we haven't seen enough of Gian to make fair judgment of his character yet. In the therapist, we only see Gian a hurt, tired, and weary man, not even close to anything we can call his normal self, cuz we never get to see it. So, yeah, Gian and Misha are still that little boat that haven't taste the water yet, so we don't know if we should bet on this ship to survive the storm.per se

    About the tone in banker, yeah, probably you know that Ilya's gonna die, but you don't wanna think about it. As for me, it made me uneasy since the time the shop owner's called Misha's name, but I never realise what it is, till Ilya collapse for the first time and Misha saw his stitch and it suddenly hit me that" oh my god, this man's gonna die" and I counldnt get that thought out of my head while reading the rest of the story. It didn't help that the author keep dropping heart breaking hints around, like that song on the radio " I cried a river over you..." and now I can't even listen to that song without tear streaming down my face. You weren't the only one who couldn't cry when the phone call came, I felt my heart and my innard drop in a pile at my feet when I read the word " the only thing is... your heart stop ". I just lock my phone and didn't touch it even once after I finished that chapter that day ( and that's a miracle for me, I never ever leave my phone alone all day long like that day ).
    It is certainly a eye opener for the readers when the funeral scene came. When Ilya talk about how little his family care for him, I want to believe that he was exaggerating, that no one could be that cruel to their own family member, but the harsh truth is just that grating. When someone die you expect people to be sad for them, but all we see are people gossip about his inheritance. And even his son has no tear to shed for him, he wasn't even sad his father die, he's only angry he didn't get him money.

    " It's interesting that you use the word, "borrowed" to describe Misha's happiness after he lived with Ilya. Why did you use this word? :)) " Well, when I wrote that Misha's time of happiness was borrowed, I mean that his happiness stem from Ilya, who was a man living on borrowed time. Before he met Misha, Ilya was already a dead man walking, he live for death, on a life extended by money and medical technology, so yes, I do see such life as a " borrowed " one, as he himself said that he died on that operating table, and was it not for Misha, I doubt he'd called the doctor when he collapsed the first time and would just give up there and then. And as for Misha, was it not for Ilya's tender hand, would probably give in and floating face down in the river or even went to the dark side ( he followed a stranger( well dressed and high class, yes, but so is Hannibal Lector) to his home and even anticipated murder and abuse, you can tell this kid is already near his breaking point). Both of them brought positivity to the other's life, Ilya gave Misha a second chance at life and Misha gave Ilya closure in his death, so that he would die knowing someone loves him and remember him fondly. I'd like to think even now, Ilya is watching over Misha still and was happy for Misha when he found new love.

    Welp, I didn't expect my answer would be this long. I'm sorry if I was ranting too much. By the way, I would love to be your friend. If you don't mind, can I ask for your Facebook Name? I would love to talk more to a fellow Ilya's Loyal Lover. This wonderful man needs a lot of love. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

    Oh wow, when I write this comment I did not expect to have such lengthy and insightful reply for this one, and I love you so much for considering all my thought and opinion and provide back such beautiful reply... @Hallelujah

    My feels for Ilya are sailing as we speak LOL. Sometimes, letting out my feels could help me move on from a character. However, this time… I feel that no matter how much we talk about Ilya, my feels won’t fade… Even though Ilya’s gone, his impact will stay with us for a while… x))

    “Oh wow, when I write this comment I did not expect to have such lengthy and insightful reply for this one, and I love you so much for considering all my thought and opinion and provide back such beautiful reply to me. I feel so blessed to such meaningful conversation with someone whose though so align with me.” <-- Thank you for appreciating my post!! :) I’m happy to see that you took me seriously too. I am glad that you found my thoughts insightful. The “I love you so much” and “I feel so blessed” bits were adorable btw xDD

    Maybe the beauty of us not knowing Ilya’s previous relationship(s) and about any other potential children, is that it highlights that Misha and Ilya fell in love without needing to know each other’s backgrounds. It’s normal for people (if not, their friends or family members) to question their partner, like their background and qualities… I find it touching that Misha and Ilya love each other, without again, prying. We don’t know much about Misha either – we don’t know what happened to his parents, when his aunt’s boyfriend started living with them, if he has siblings or other relatives, etc. I love that Misha and Ilya formed a genuine human connection from seeing who the other person was. <3

    If Roman’s mother passed away, I would understand never seeing her… We’ve never seen family photos or traces of anyone else’s belongings at Ilya’s house, so maybe Ilya has been living alone for a long time while everyone else moved out. :/

    It’s a good question to wonder if Ilya and Roman’s mother were married, when did they divorce? What was the reason for their divorce? Even in an arranged marriage, people could learn to accept and appreciate each other (even if there is no love at all). Was their separation THAT terrible that she never wanted to look at Ilya again? It would be sad if Ilya did express his sexual desire for BDSM and she mistook that as unethical… >< Although, it’s difficult to imagine Ilya doing anything against anyone’s consent, considering his patience and respect with Misha… :/

    When Ilya talked about his relatives looking disappointed that he didn’t die, I thought of Roman for sure!! >< I don’t know if Roman’s mother would be included if they had a divorce… I lean more on Ilya and Roman’s mother having a divorce (if she’s still alive), otherwise she probably would have been upset about receiving no money from Ilya. ;_____; Maybe Roman’s mother was a gold digger because then we know who Roman got that attitude from LOL!

    “I feels that if there were genuine love in his previous marriage, his ex wife would have at least called or come to visit him once in a while too, knowing about his condition( I don't believe she doesn't know, this is a rather big news) and no matter how bad their relationship were in the past, you can't really ignore the man you once love and have a child together when he's literally threading on death door, even if you already move on.” <-- Unless if it was due to the circumstances, wouldn’t Ilya and Roman’s mother stay together (if there was genuine love) instead of separate? I know not all separations end on good terms, so Roman’s mother may not choose to visit him for that reason. It’s possible Roman’s mother just closed her heart on Ilya and never wants to see him again, so…maybe she does care but there is a part of her that can’t bring herself to visit him. (We’ve never even seen the lady so we’re just naming possibilities x)) But again, it’s difficult to imagine Ilya mistreat anyone, so his ex not seeing him probably has to do with her more than him.

    … I’ve heard before that poor people tend to be kind, not rich people. Sometimes, having money makes you self-centred, so you take comfort in material wealth instead of caring for those around you. I have a feeling that Ilya’s relatives are so fixated on money that they forgot or don’t know how to treat people (including Ilya) with kindness… :( It’s sad that Ilya took note of Misha’s consideration, which may be overlooked by many people who may even claim that’s normal, but to Ilya, Misha turning the cup handle towards him every time was so touching… I think Ilya recognized then that no one around him has treated him that way, so all the financial comfort he had could not shed off the loneliness he felt. Ironically, financial comfort probably highlighted how lonely Ilya really was. Misha gave Ilya the warmth that has no price tag attached to it. <33

    “So, yeah, I think there's really no love lost between Ilya and his ex wife, and that's just... really sad.” <-- :( I would be sad if Ilya and Roman’s mother spent years together, but when they separated, he realized they did not share any love together… It would be sad if Ilya did love Roman’s mother, but he realized she was only with him for money, convenience, or any other reason… >< Yikes, I would feel betrayed(?) if I thought someone loved me but they didn’t. :/

    I think your theory on Roman’s parents separating, Roman growing up with his mother and not being close with Ilya due to Ilya’s work make sense. Maybe it’s good that we don’t know what Roman and Ilya’s relationship was like or else we would be crying over that too!! T>T

    “And about younger Ilya, I think the downside of this author's art is that every character is drawn so beautifully that I can't hate anyone in this story, even asshole like Roman. The thought that he could be the younger version of Ilya makes me rethink about slapping the shit Out of his ingrate ass for insulting Ilya and Misha's love. I'm sure You could understand my sentiment.” <-- LOL!! The agony!! WHY DOES ROMAN HAVE TO LOOK SO MUCH LIKE ILYA?? If we hit Roman, we would be hitting Ilya junior (appearance-wise)!! XD It bothers me that Roman has half of Ilya’s DNA and he is included in what Ilya left behind, so… :/ Roman is a mix of feelings for us… Roman is the reminder of Ilya’s sadness but also leaves us wondering, “Did Ilya look like you when he was your age?” :( It bothered me that Roman was SO entitled as Ilya’s son to believe he would inherit our dear man’s property and money, and assumed Misha pretended to love Ilya, without knowing a thing…

    We don’t know how long Ilya has visited the restaurant too!! X( Based on the first chapter of Banker, Ilya has witnessed Misha getting mistreated by his boss before… Damn, it gave me feels when Ilya said he kept coming to the restaurant to see Misha!! ;_____; (Guardian angel!!!) So, it seems Ilya grew tired of seeing Misha’s mistreatment, which is why he gave our young boy the choice of following him. Overall, I just like that Ilya gave Misha the choice! Misha could have very easily perceived Ilya as a creepy old man LOL. Sometimes, customers do misinterpret workers’ friendliness and make unwanted advances. :P

    “You move on from love, but you don't forget it, especially one so deep it affect your life years later.” <-- Very true. It seems both Gian and Misha just need companions right now. If Misha, for example, dated someone who has never loved anyone else before, they may not understand the depth of his emotions for Ilya, or may even get jealous at how much space Ilya continues to occupy in Misha’s heart. It could turn into a situation where there is a three-people relationship without a third person present. >< I think the same could be said for Gian if his next partner was not Misha but someone who lacked maturity and/or experience in love… I don’t think anyone else (besides Misha) would have understood Gian’s nostalgia and yearning for the relationship he had with his ex-wife, despite being a divorcee for a while (over one or two years – correct me if you find the right information). So, I see Misha and Gian’s relationship as one that stems from their understanding of each other through loss. I hope they’ll learn about each other and make the other person happier. :)

    I like that you accurately worded that we don’t know if Misha and Gian are the ship we should sail on… We just have to see how they handle their relationship. I feel that Misha and Gian have lived beyond their years and wouldn’t need the typical dating phase, lol. It would be no surprise if Misha and Gian choose to live together, similarly to Misha and Ilya, and it would probably be comfortable for Gian too as he used to live with his ex-wife. I think Misha and Gian have been lonely for years, they just want to have that familial aspect back in their lives.

    You know, instead of so many death hints, I wish we got more lovey-dovey moments LOL!! XD In chapter 45 when Misha said, “I have no job and lots of time. I can do more than just warm your bed, you know?” I was like, “I WANT TO SEE THAT!” We only saw Misha in bed with Ilya twice; once was when Misha came to Ilya’s room because it was cold and then they had sex, and the other time was after sex when Misha was awake and naked. I wanted to see the look on Ilya’s face to wake up and see Misha… Was Misha the cuddly type in bed?? Hmm…now…Misha was always the naked one during sex and Ilya wasn’t… ;_____; We got a bath scene in Preference and Prejudice, so why not here? I’d like to see a bath scene!!! ;P I love it when one person shampoos the other person’s hair too. <33

    But Misha’s narration when Ilya died was indeed…sad. Everything was fine – the car and there was even the vase Misha requested. It was supposed to be a perfectly ordinary day, except… Ilya’s heart stopped beating. :( I don’t think Misha envisioned life without Ilya…so time stopped in that sense too. T<T

    I think Ilya’s funeral was the worst I could envision in humankind (excluding Misha’s appearance and love for Ilya of course). ;____; I’d rather see no one present, than to see many people who don’t care at all… It baffles me to think that humans could be so cruel that they don’t even have any empathy at a funeral. T.T

    It’s interesting that you note that Ilya’s time was borrowed from today’s technological advances, thanks to his money! :O OMG…that image you described of Ilya falling to the ground and not even trying to call his doctor… Thank goodness that didn’t happen! He really didn’t have a motivation to live before Misha began living with him ;_____;

    … Ah, yes, Misha was prepared to die if that was what Ilya planned. Maybe Misha was lucky he met Ilya. Misha didn’t have hope for life, considering the mistreatment at home and work. :/ It didn’t look like Misha had friends either, since he didn’t contact anyone while he lived with Ilya… I’m so grateful that Ilya chose to offer his hand to Misha. <33 Misha wouldn’t have met Diego, Callo, or Gian if not for Ilya. ;___;

    “Both of them brought positivity to the other's life, Ilya gave Misha a second chance at life and Misha gave Ilya closure in his death, so that he would die knowing someone loves him and remember him fondly. I'd like to think even now, Ilya is watching over Misha still and was happy for Misha when he found new love.” <-- Good conclusion to your paragraph!! Ilya and Misha make me think that…although life could appear hopeless, we never know who we could meet, and they could make our lives brighter. :) We don’t know what could be waiting for us ahead, whether it’s a tender hand or (re)gaining trust.

    “I would love to talk more to a fellow Ilya's Loyal Lover. This wonderful man needs a lot of love. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~” <-- Awe, you’re cute!! XD Ilya and Misha’s story were one of the stories that opened my eyes to couples with large age gaps. In society, there tends to be a stigma to people with age gaps, asserting, “why not find someone your age?” But it’s sad that not many people consider the perspectives of those involved in the relationship… Being with someone older doesn’t always mean you only want their money and being with someone younger doesn’t always mean you only like their appearance. :/ Sometimes, if two people are going through the same stages in life (e.g. stressed post-secondary students who are trying to figure out their identities), they don’t have much to offer one another because they’re both struggling. If Misha was dating someone his age for example, it’s unlikely they would have done what Ilya did; gave him a second chance in life and validated him, for instances. I think Ilya’s love for Misha is influenced by his own life (probably years from being with Roman’s mother and as Roman’s father), which anyone else Misha’s age probably wouldn’t have experienced. So, I appreciate that although Misha and Ilya were in dissimilar stages of life, it’s clear they demonstrated to each other what the other person didn’t have. <33

    Hmm… I can’t send you a private message for some reason. Could you send me a private message and we could exchange info there? :) I don’t mind continuing our Ilya discussion here too – it doesn’t hurt to have others read and potentially join us xD

    What a thoughtful contribution, it would be interesting to see how Misha views/handles his relationship with Ilya's son/Ilya's ex-wife and what level of awareness they all had for each other whilst Ilya was sti... clouds

    Thanks for calling my contribution thoughtful.(▰˘◡˘▰) Your contribution is thoughtful too. :)

    We didn't know Ilya had a son until Misha saw Roman in-person at Ilya's funeral. Maybe Misha didn't know about Ilya's relatives in detail...? Misha just knew that Ilya's relatives hurt him, so he probably didn't ask questions. Ilya doesn't seem like the type of person who would suddenly share a lot either.

    Seeing that Roman was still persistent about getting Ilya's house back and Misha declined (one reason was to maintain Ilya's belongings) ... I don't even know if those two talk in-person. If they did after Ilya's funeral, their conversations would probably get nowhere since Roman would insist that Misha is a gold digger until death... T>T

    "Maybe the son severed his ties with his father completely after he knew about Misha, regardless of gender, both he and his mum view Misha (wrongly) as being this young gold digger." <-- I'm curious about this! When Roman claimed that Misha must have been Ilya's lover, I think, "Hey, maybe Roman does know something about Ilya's personality; they're not completely strangers." Although, since Roman never visited Ilya once six months before his death, I'm curious if he knew about Misha prior to our young boy being the heir...? If so, wouldn't Roman have caused trouble for Ilya while he was alive?? (Unless if Ilya hid Roman's disturbance from Misha...)

    Who was the lady at Ilya's funeral beside Roman?? I thought of her as possibly Roman's spouse or partner. I'm curious about who Roman's mother is, now that we're talking about her... ;____;

    "Regardless of this speculation, how their story was presented seemed sufficient and realistic, I would imagine all of those characters would have had little physical interaction with each other and their was a great deal of amniosity on the part of Ilya's ex wife and son, and regarding Misha well he remains passive and polite as would expected in his relationship towards his partners's ex and son ." <-- Very true. It makes me sad that Misha still has to deal with Ilya's relatives one way or another, but that's also his way of shielding Ilya from them. (Who knows what other form of disrespect they would have for Ilya, through his property or money?) It's sad that even after Ilya passed away, our precious man's relatives can't accept that Misha is Ilya's heir and move on. :/

I know this is shounen and ecchi stuffs would be everywhere, but the author just keep "forcing" making the soldiers are all girls which is ridiculous. For all of the characters in this series I think you could count male characters with fingers, I don't mind with their ecchi stuffs but it has such a good plot and stories and action and everything but it just turn out like the girls are mentally weak and need morito sorry but do you know what I mean aagggghhh
