I can't get into the story at all. Been reading 10 chapters, but there is just fight, no real consistency until nox and it's getting me bored. I don't even fully understand the concept of the towers either so it's super frustrating
Yes I understand that FL is in a child's body rn but there's not grooming or anything.
They both have feelings for each other and FL is waiting for her body to turn back into an adult before confessing.
ML FELL IN LOVE WITH THE ADULT BODY OF THE FL, as they already met in the past and he hasn't done anything inappropriate at all until now.
They are speaking adult to adult as FL is in a child's body. Her mind did not regress at all, her body did
That's why she gets sleepy early. Her sweet tooth is not associated to her being a child but her discovering new flavors

The way i see it, the story falls in gray area and people can only see black or white... can't be open minded lol, no point arguing when the trend is to hate. Some people can't separate their mind from what's happening irl, and that's why literature is dying. People see art in face value, you and I just appreciate the author for this story and ignore people who can't get over that's there is more to the story if they actually read
So that means because of the necklace, our mc's powers are sealed. But she doesn't even know that

I read the manhwa in 2020, left at the part where Cale got his second power, and continued with the novel. And Imma tell you all that the manhwa adaptation is really boring T.T
Don't get me wrong, I love this story so much, I love when manhwa have a quick pace but I feel like the one who did the script for the manhwa understand the essence of the characters.
They have so much personality in the novel. Here, all the focus is on Cale and Cale's goal is not explicitly explained here, or the fact that he's sacrificing himself, but don't realise it.
I read from chapter 1 to the last chapter released these last few days, and feel like the manhwa is really hollow. How are the other characters so attached to Cale even though nothing is really happening between. It was pictured in a deeper way in the novel. The bound between Cale and Choi Han was already really good at this point, a complicity, but what I see is Choi Han just following orders for no apparent reason.
Same thing with the relationship with Cale and the kids! (the cats and Raon), it was more funny and a more parental relationship. Well at least the relationship with Raon is better described better here.
Then comes the queen of the jungle, what in the design is that?? She's supposed to be big, muscular women T.T I had someone like Hilda from MLBB (go check it out) in mind. The same thing for Tunka, he has just a big torso in the manhwa tf, he's supposed to be someone at the peak of the human body. I'm so bummed with the limited character body design.
And then the black elves, ugh, well the memory of reading the novel was years ago but I'm going to reread the novel too after this. But I thought the black elves skin color is supposed to be dark. Like not black as black people but really black like the color black. Or is it just me??? They just tanned elves T.T
And Eruhaben, he is such a fun character, lots of details went over the head of the person who did the script for the manhwa. Like Cale meet the dragon, the dragon is kinda friendly and decides to follow and be his guard, like whaaaaaat. It was so quick, it wasn't like that at all in the novel. This whole thing is so hollow. The characters in the manhwa are hollow.
I feel like at this point Cale is just going around and collecting people, but guys it is so much more deeper than that in the novel. I urge u all to read it.

Truee, i also think that the manhwa can't fully Describe the fenomena in the novel, the feel is just Not enough. If the novel 10/10 the manhwa is 7/10
I think you find the manhwa kinda boring coz you read the novel. It's the case for me too coz when I haven't read the novel yet, manhwa is so exciting for me

tbh, didn't read all that, but I agree, novel>>>manhwa. there are so many bits from the novel that revealed the depth of the characters' relationship with each other that are either cut or brushed off in the manhwa. pan4's art is great, it's just that the way of story telling in manhwa sense fails to capture about 50% more of what the novel has to offer.

the official licensed novel is also being sold on amazon! if you have a kinokuniya in your area, they have a stock of the volumes there too. a new volume is released every 3 months or so on the 2nd. the sixth one should be coming out on feb 2nd!
i feel the same way. the novel just has so much more life and characterization to it! the manhwa feels more like a summary of the story rather than a proper adaptation cos of how much details and essence is lost between character interactions! it’s a lot more hollow. makes me sad when i see how well they adapted other novels like s class hunters and orv.
tunka, for example, is someone who shows a lot more emotion in the novel and becomes a crybaby around cale i was so sad they didn’t show that in the manhwa jdndjdnd his homeboy energy in the novel was one of my favorite things to see
