the whole table convo has me feeling like Kayla's not taking the whole situation seriously enough which is irritating from a supposed 'leader of the family'. her inability to convince the siblings just feels like she lacks that strong leadership and guidance they need right now. She should have been WAY more stern and used that moment to re-establish the families neutrality or to address any other concerns other members of the family have (showing she cares, is listening, but also HAS A PLAN so they should continue to believe and trust in her).
additionally the siblings outburst could be a serious indicator of simmering sentiment among the other family members (aka the siblings are close enough to Kayla to say this shit but are also likely emboldened by other family members echoing their same thoughts).
this conversation made me lose some respect for Kayla ngl...like girl wtf? ik those are ur family members but ur also a LEADER and need to be really clear on what the plan is and WHY to convince them so they don't rebel or betray her later for their OWN ambitions (which I'm pretty sure they're going to do based on their exit lol)
I agree to some extent, she could have addressed their concerns better for sure for their peace of mind, but like Nikeko said, her decision is based on her knowing the future (something she can't exactly tell them), also highkey, the family isn't forced to stay there
She was clear from the beginning, everyone who stays in the castle will be protected, those who disagree with her can leave but won't receive protection in the future, I think she didn't bother to explain or convince them coz at the end of the day even if they do betray her, she and her immediate family [ESPECIALLY her brother] are too OP to actually be hurt by them, really she's doing them (random strangers lowkey) a favor, if they don't want it she's not too pressed about it
oh my gOOOD FINALLY. AFTER THREE YEARS.

In chapter "1.4", we see a wavy haired noble lady give the FL a creepy stare. Her design (possibly unintentional) is a LOT like the sus noble daughters the FL is meeting in ch. 7. Her hair part even looks similar? Dunno just speculation n a guess on my part that its the same person/the culprit or someone involved in the cat curse ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I read ahead and I think the ML has really bad communication skills, he does seem to really like the FL and sincerely want to protect her (if a bit possessive). He seems to have slight sociopathic tendencies and latched onto the FL cuz she was the only one (as kids) to sincerely cared about, liked, and considered him and his feelings.
there was some kinda of accident as kids that made him even more protective of her and more sincere is how he treats her.
lol I got impatient to find out what the castillo boys reaction would be like and read ahead for the raws. They're up to chp 89! And wow so cute ppl rly be simping over her hahahaha

Basically the castillo boy is a lowkey tsundere and super soft for her and just doesn't show it to others lollll and she ends up taking lots of pictures and modeling for the camera producer/company HAHA

the plot is making no sense, the world building is failing, I'm losing interest as the characterization is feeling watered down and weak.
