I read it a while ago and can't remember the name. It's about an Elf who was a slave and very badly abused, she is blind too. A doctor finds her and starts treating her makes her a set of dentures and bandages her wounds. The setting is forestry and Renaissance... kinda? The elf is a very pretty girl.... I think there is also a little girl living in their group.

This story is so wholesome in the strangest way, Never thought I would be learning what it means to be a family and what it takes to step up and be the person your family needs and how our perception can negatively affect how we think of people, even when they have good intentions. So many life lessons in this short story!!! I loved it!
