A lighthearted, short read but it was enjoyable. The comedy wasnt really mixed with anything else and sometimes it landed for me, other times not really, but I love magical girl stories.

Really pointless death game since he never managed to get out of it nor put a stop to it. The women are literally just there for the plot to progress and Noa who had a chance to do something did nothing. The MC too switches back and forth between mentalities in a cliche way, every time he's about to die or at a pivotal moment. The only good part was the initial round against the serial killer but they tried to humanize the serial killer in a really shitty way? This was kind of a waste to read but at least its off the list now.
I was recommended this read from a friend but having read it, Im pretty confused. I think the beginning of the story was pretty good potential wise but then things were being introduced and started happening, and thinking about it, I think the only one with development was Seki. The direction feels a bit all over the place and the Alice in mirrorland syndrome was only used as a plot point for the beginning, not really being touched on any further than that. I can see the parallels between king, the head Cheshire devil, and Azuma, I could kind of gather the theme of nature vs nurture? Azuma didnt really have a purpose like the other two, she just had a goal and kept to it the entire time. I get she was abused, so thus, she didn't really care about anyone but her goal and while in the end it was nice she grew to care about the other alices, it feels a bit unrealistic she didnt gain any empathy throughout her journey? I guess that would be chalked up to something like if she was sociopathic but this story left me really confused and unsatisfied. The worlds all feel half baked and the story was dragged on without much actual substance, things just happen to progress the story but it feels really out of place and random when they do. There were some nice reveals but everything ultimately fell flat for me. Im glad I finished it at least and didnt drop it.

Its a wonderful love story weaved with tragedy how two people can overcome the box they were put in as well as their tragic pasts and futures. The dynamic between the two as you can see them open up to one another, despite being a married couple, is really sweet and well written. I like Romelia as a female protagonist because shes honest yet hardworking, she carved her own path in the town amongst all the folk. Every character, no matter how small, serve to flesh out the town and world, not everything is happy due to the war and not everyone is in high social status. I wish there was a proper end but I can imagine Romelia fulfilling the wish of the queen and seeing more of the world with her husband by her side.

I think this story was twisted and maybe a bit too metaphorical, so I'll relate what I think it is about, though I doubt I'm right. I see this as a parallel to queer relationships, the yearning for someone always out of reach, someone you can never have no matter what you do. But also trapping yourself in a cycle with how hard you try to come close to someone you love who can't love you back. But another interpretation was how love can be easily be mistaken for other emotions. Makoto definately loved J to the point of consumption, but there are other types of love he displays throughout the story. He was always seen as an outsider and someone abnormal among the humans, yet with demons, it amounted to the same fate. Now thinking of it, maybe it wasnt actually love for J, but the other feelings of finally being seen by someone and understood and accepted. The hope he held out only for it to be crushed and in the end, it turned to hatred and passion. Now he's stuck as a lonely high class demon waiting for another to come along to put him out of his misery, but again, I feel like I'm only scratching the surface of this story. Its haunting and twisted, how power means everything in such a society and without it, youre nothing. Just like with humans now, so perhaps there is no real difference between humans and demons. Makoto may have always been doomed to be different from everyone else no matter what, for his desires seem to be beyond both kind. A very twisted Gothic story, it was nice to think about.

Its a nice cooking story but the dialogue between characters feels off. Like its not very natural and theres too much yet not enough going on. It was an okay read.

Its nothing really special but the dynamics of each pair is the stronger point. The sex is meh.
Its extremely fluffy but dubious consent. Still, for a smut with plot, it wasnt terrible, just wished they fleshed out some characters and the story a bit better. It would totally be better if she consented to his sexual advances though. I love how she didnt change her weight and instead learned to be kinder to herself and her body, she isnt really a fat MC though, she's only slightly chubby. But it was refreshing to have a different body type for the MC.

Its a lighthearted story following the classic otome game style. I like how theres a mix of characters and the punchline about the MC's weight isnt overused. However it is fairly short and there isnt much substance other than the one offs. Its fine for what it is and its nice to see an atypical MC.

Its a fluffy romance story with a bit of mystery thrown in. I feel like the mystery bullying aspect was a bit goofy in tone compared to the rest of the story especially compared to Shizuka standing up for Akira to the police. I really hate the weight loss aspect because it would have been more impactful to the story that she was able to love herself and find love despite their unconventional looks. There needs to be more plus sized representation in stories, but overall it was a short, cute read.
