its a fun read a bit of a slop i just dont like the inconsistency with niveas character but she's a fun fmc i skimmed for most part so maybe i skip some details but there quite a few plot holes around its really different than the genric villainess story if you're bored and looking for a read this is fun

it looks so nice but last update was years ago

i thought its gonna be a bully slop again but all the characters are written well its complex emotions i feel like lua could be redeem if she grow up with her father and not her ugly ass grandmother.....

it was a good read did anyone read the novel please spoil me... 7/10 its a fun read but read quite boring and repetitive it is different from other manhwa although mc had sympathy and sense of justice he really weights what would benefits him the best i think that makes him different from other mc he's not a saint but he's not pure evil either he really just weigh what benefits he can get from people rather than letting his emotions pick

the ml is so ahh idk if its same with the novel but he look so boring and plain even that Knight with pink hair looks more mysterious.....also anyone have link for the novel hehe

i feel like he could be a really complex character if they built him more i dont know about the novel but it the manhwa he felt like a flat character filled with flaws....i cant really blame him if greed took over the first life he did what he could to survive after all he is not from that place and was just drag there he probably think he need to do what he want to climb ranks and survive...still it doesn't excuse his behavior against fl....i just feel like he's a wasted character

i cant stand the fl....maybe its because i never really been into a relationship so i dint understand the concept of love outside of fiction but can you really lower yourself like that for a man.... the first things she should have done is straight up break up with him.... but i guess a few drama is also needed for the plot but i cant stand the fl sometimes....it be nice if the next chapters would explore her relationship with the ml and she finally remove the exbf from her mind....anyways its a nice read hoping for more chapters

tbh

i would let him massacre everyone while i laugh like a psycho the whole ass school is a ragebait .....also wish they end up together its tbhk all over again

its a nice read first part of the story was amazing good character and the pacing as well but after that it become quite boring the villains didn't really feel like villains like a cheap concept of bad guys....it also had a bit slow story pacing idk if its the same with novel but it feels underwhelming than the original idea....also if anyone have spoilers I'll be happy to read.

here's a review I did not read every word i skim through oages i love the mc he is someone written with goals in mind and i love his growth throughout the way i did not read the novel but some people say the novel had different pacing than the manhwa.... it was a amazing read especially for a murim manhwa but i feel underwhelmed by the ending to be honest it felt rushed and a bit open ended

this manhwa is amazing but to be honest there are unnecessary problems that could be fix I understand they need fillers to make the story longer and stuff for serialization but it could've doe better also the pacing of keeping everything so suspense is killing me were already on chaoter 80 but there's still more questions than answer ...i didn't read the novel but i supposed it is long one.... still its a good murim manhwa i recommend it also love his mom

i just dont feel connected with her as a character but at the same time i understand her character for me it just feel so flat and boring...though given she really is mature it just come off as being a pushover rather than maturity she still have all the right to be angry and yet it wasn't portrayed well even her sadness felt like only happens in 1-2 chapters then she's all happy again....anyways dont mind my rambling its still a nice read

but its a nice read if you're bored also i wish the crown prince and the duke would end up i. good terms u hate see8ng brothers turn to each other in manhwa

i should've marinated it for 3 more years

please adopt this trash created a topic of Magic Lord

i read it too soon should've marinated it more

It's nice but isn't the story a bit rushed? I feel like the could've explained more stuff...anyways if you like medical stuff I suggest medical return it had a good pacing and nice plot though I don't personally really like the art style but it's amazing

This is based on the novel Surviving as Yeonsangun's Chef right??? Which also have a kdrama bon appetit your majesty?

The plot is weird as fuck......but the dialogue was written amazingly I forgot the obvious incest themes.....the FL is stupid and manipulative I mean her thoughts are weird, the ml is....idk he is weird

Honestly, harems in fiction (and historically) just don’t work they’re built on patriarchal control, not love. Even in stories where the female lead is strong or a warrior type, her agency is often crushed by palace politics, jealousy, or being reduced to a trophy. Take the baroness concubine, for example: she doesn’t even seem to love the emperor she’s likely doing what she has to survive in that shitty imperial palace. It’s just another classist, misogynistic piece of world-building. Even the man who's having an affair with a concubine in their pov the two probably had affection with each other but one must survive in a harem through birthing a child while the other is a fallen noble who can't do anything if they are the one doing the pov you'll probably hate the emperor (it's just classist how the emperor must be obeyed like a god)

Reverse harems aren’t much better they fetishize power imbalances and normalize possessiveness under the guise of romance. Romanticizing harems is basically a gooner fantasy: it erases the harm these structures cause and treats women as objects rather than people. Strong, independent characters shouldn’t be sidelined for political drama or turned into punchlines—love in a harem scenario is almost always conditional, performative, and rooted in control.

In short: harems look dramatic, but they’re emotionally, morally, and socially toxic. Fiction that glorifies them ends up reinforcing misogyny and classism under a shiny, romantic veneer. Well it's just a passing thought also disappointing that the fl barely live to the title of the manhwa
