i hate having to constantly be a jinx apologist (jaekyung has a gun to my head) but seeing dan fall back into alcoholism after making some good progress pissed me tf off too ik it's a hard habit to break but it doesn't change the fact that it's frustrating and jaekyung was already pissed to start off with so him throwing dan to the ground and splashing water on him to sober him up before walking away was... not really that bad? (if it is tell me idk how far into this delusion i'm in bc it doesn't help that i have a hatred for alcoholism) and also what i got from the last few scenes reminded me of the saying that i'll quote loosely "you won't know how precious something is until you lose it" so his actions after were made upon the idea that there was a chance that he could have lost dan forever and contrary to what a lot of y'all think this IS progress. he always talks as if dan is disposable and replacable (like earlier in the chapter) and yet reacted like this when even the idea of him dying was in the air? that's already making it so obvious that what jaekyung says is always contrary to how he really feels. y'all need to take a step back and understand that jinx will be a slow burn and that change will not happen overnight. you cannot keep reading and expect that the next chapter will be his groveling arc. jaekyung IS an asshole and i'm also mourning for dan rn but i'm getting tired of people calling the story and chapters garbage when there are subtle hints and implications like this throughout the story. you can trash on jaekyung all you want i'm not complaining about that, but don't disrespect the author and their work like that.
this chapter (excluding that last part) was so goddamn sweet? jaehyuk loves him so much you can literally feel it from across the screen. and i never felt like it was too corny or cheesy which admittedly i feel for plenty of bl so this just made me feel all fuzzy inside
jaekyung PLEASE i'm begging you help dan in his time of need that man is living in hell rn it hurts to see him like that hopefully granny opened his eyes
it's so damn obvious that jaekyung's feelings for dan goes past just plain lust at this point like ironically just like he said for dan his words and body say different things and i cant wait for him to realize it
