honestly i understand what people are saying about how the ML doesn't look like he likes the MC. imo he seems to not have realized until the very end which probably stems from his childhood of being unloved. it's likely he doesn't know how to express that (hence the extravagant ways he went to give MC the things he might've liked). i think his way of loving was subtle, and i definitely don't see too many BL fantastical/romance tropes focusing more on the fantasy side of things, so i definitely enjoyed that. if you like the focus on the 'BL' side of things i don't recommend reading

i feel like the development of their relationship could've been explored a little more. felt so rushed for them to just love each other so suddenly and the death of Kim Dan's grandma just felt like an add-on for them to hug and confess LOL. maybe it's just me though. i'm glad it was a happy ending but hopefully we'll get to see more in the side stories. i'm sure Jinx was profitable so i'm surprised this kind of ending came so fast
