As an asexual aromantic dude, not having scantly clad women in mainstream manga's obsession with boobs is nice sometimes. Otherwise, yaoi cracked open my interest in love stories, helped me to understand healthy/unhealthy relationships (granted, this was personal research because few yaoi acknowledge rape), and encouraged me to diversify character ...... reply
