Death Edge
This manga is one of my favorites. I like the idea behind it and the story is very interesting so far. I cannot wait until I can read more.
Tokyo Ghoul:re
If you read the original part of Tokyo Ghoul you will inevitably head to the sequel here. I feel as if it is not nearly as good as the first part... though it still has time to redeem itself. The story line is very predictable in this one. They introduced entirely too many new characters giving them all backstories. They talk up side characters and give them some screen time to try to make you care when they get killed a few chapters later. Many of the new characters are kinda annoying. There are plenty who fiercely defend the sequel thinking it to be just as good or even better. I am not one of those people. However, I will continue to read it because I was a fan of the first part and I want to finish what I started. I would recommend this sequel to the people who were up in arms about the ending of the original Tokyo Ghoul. Some people cannot handle a ending that deviates so artistically from what is expected at the end of a normal manga. However, to a person like me who reads a lot that was one of the reasons Tokyo Ghoul became unforgettable and a favorite. Re loses that edge. Though I will say that RE has had it's good moments. Most of which were nearer to the beginning in my opinion. So anyway, as I said previously, good or bad those who liked the first part will inevitably end up reading RE just because it is more Tokyo Ghoul. However, to me, so far, I couldn't give it a great review.
Berserk
This is one of my favorite manga but I liked it more earlier on. Some people like it more now and didn't like it earlier. I guess it depends on your preference. The art Is excellent after volume 3 and it gets better and better. I plan to keep reading until the end in hopes that it gets back to a story line that fits it's title of "Berserk". I'd suggest it to anyone who is not squeamish.
