It’s a little disappointing honestly. I like the art style and the banter between the characters. I was kinda hoping for a different dynamic between the 1st prince and the FL. A redemption arc so at least one of the princes would be tolerable. maybe their developed more a friendship type relationship and the ML would change his mind to support him. But he’s just an egotistical idiot tbh. And the 2nd prince is just as bad. I also wish they expanded on her relationship with the children she took in instead of basically forgetting about them. It’s still good, just disappointing and it feels like they forget about some of the plot points.

Lianel does actually have his own lady later. Her name is Ivetta(?) Corindel, his fiancee that is arranged by his stepmother. In ogstory it’s mentioned in epilogue that they’re in political marriage.
Here after Penelope doing her business successfully and is granted baroness title by the emperor, Ivetta became Penelope fans. She admired Penelope’s independence, even though she’s a widow, she managed to build her late husband estate successfully.
Inspired to be independent, Ivetta rejected the engagement with Lianel, severed ties with her family, run away from home, and go to Halo region to get a job. She became Penelope’s secretary and Penelope really cherished her because she’s truly capable. Penelope is the one who doesn’t approve Ivetta and Lianel end up with each other actually, because she will lose the ever rare gem of secretary that is Ivetta (≧∀≦)
