The manhwa is BL, and I remember how the MC has many scars on his back from saving the ML when they were young from a burning church / house? And, years later, when MC took the ML from a foster care, MC deliberately covers his back scars to hide it from the ML because he does not want the ML to know he was the one who save him from before.

The MC also sponsors the ML while in a foster family before having ML live at his house.
