Recently got really nostalgic and was looking for an anime that I can't find. (Pretty sure there should be a manga as well so..)
I only remember that it was about a (pretty sure) red haired girl who comes from a tribe of sorts that can call rain. There is a really sad farewell scene, where she is on a boat and sings a really sad beautiful song. And at the end she produces a ring shaped rainbow around the sun to prove she is wirthy of marrying the prince or smth like that.
