After reading the ending, it would probably take me 2 weeks to recover from this emotional damage. Although I knew from the title that this masterpiece would make me cry, But I would like to mention something: this manga reminds me a lot of a visual novel game called "We'll Meet Once Again." The protagonist and FL were able to progress their relationship through a book too. FL was sick too, and Protag and FL were officially dating. When the FL was able to go outside, they went to the beach too, and they kissed. When FL passed away, she wrote a letter to everyone, especially the protagonist. Anyway, back to the manga: even though it's not a happy ending, I'm glad Shizuku was able to step forward and accept herself because of Kao-chan. Although I really wished they would end up together, not just pretending to be girlfriends, I was actually expecting that Kao-chan would be able to confess her feelings for Shizuku through her own mouth, not through a letter. I mean, before her sickness got worse.
